A Forbidden Love

Bakugo

The human world is beautiful. Animals flying through the sky, ones that you don't see by the reef, and they have these animals that are super energetic, like Kirishima, I think they called them dogs... Jirou is getting one for Kirishima and I, she says it'll help us be better for each other? I don't know. I take a deep breath and walk out of the house and head to work.
At the cafe, I pull on an apron and put on a dumb cap and start making a coffee, "hey Bakugo!" Ojiro smiles, "fuck off," I grunt and take a sip of the hot liquid, "so mean," he says, acting pained, I scoff and put my coffee down and take an order, "what can I get for you?" I ask and the customer doesn't answer, I ask again, "Kacchan?" He finally speaks, I frown and look up from the paper and see the nerd, "why the fuck are you here?" I gasp, "to get away from the king, you came here too?" he asks, "no shit," I frown, "we need to talk," Deku says, "when do you finish work?" "in about seven hours, this is a long shift and I just started," I say, "well, I will be back in seven hours, after I get a cappuccino and a mocha," Deku says, "small, medium or large?" I ask, "mediums," Deku answers, "they will be done in five," I say and walk to the coffee machine as Ojiro takes the next order.

Kirishima

I sit at the beach, staring at the water. I miss being under there... Katsuki will kill me if I tell him though... I know he misses it too, he's just stubborn and won't admit to it. "Hey, hot stuff," A woman in a bikini says as she walks past, I lift a brow at her before continuing to stare at the water. "Excuse me? I'm talking to you!" The woman still hanging around, "what?" I ask, "I was talking and you ignored me," she huffs, "so?" I question, "it's rude to ignore people," she says, "it's not like I wanted to be bothered by anyone," I say looking at her, "asshole," she says and storms off. I roll my eyes and get up. I walk to the end of the jetty and lean against a post, the water below me is softly tapping against the stands that are in the water. I see fish swimming around in the clear blue water and a stingray on the water floor. "Hey, asshole!" I hear a man shout, I spin and see a man walking towards me, "you messing with my girl?" he asks angrily, "no," I answer, "liar! I saw her talking to you! She said you called her names! That true?" he shouts as he grabs my shirt, "I didn't call anyone anything and if anything she talked to me and I told her I wanted to be alone," I say, "you think my woman would lie to me?" he asks, "guess so," I answer, "you motherfucker!" he shouts and punches my cheek, as he hits me he lets go of my shirt and I fall into the water. As soon as I am submerged I feel my legs disappear and my tail come back, I look around and get my bearings, I swim to the surface and see the man was walking back down the jetty, I feel my cheek swell from the impact. I growl and swim around and splash, I get the mans attention, he stops walking towards the beach and looks towards the water, I come up to the surface and sing. The man waddles up the jetty and jumps into the water, I swim at him and drag him under. I hold him for ten minutes before I let go of him, "you can leave now," I say as he stays where he was, "um, hello?" I say and wave my hand in front of his face, "you okay?" I ask and shake him a little bit, I then bring him to the surface and put him on one of the planks that sit horizontally and are half-submerged in the water, "Hey, you okay? I was only trying to tease you, stop playing dead, it's not funny," I say as I shake him, I then hear someone scream, I move into the shadows and a kid jumps off the jetty and into the water. She stays under for a while and then after thirty seconds she comes up, "I almost ran out of air then," she giggles to her friend who then jumps in too. I look at the man, he couldn't breathe... humans can't breathe underwater... I killed him.

After hours of me hiding under the jetty with the dead man, the beach was empty. I swim to the jetty and try and climb up, I fail and fall into the water again. I then hear voices, I panic and dive under the jetty, then  hear a familiar voice, "the fuck you mean?" the familiar one says, "I'm telling you that the king is killing everyone, he has killed half the people of our home because they knew you personally or ever spoke to you," the unfamiliar one says, "what about mum? and dad?" the familiar one speaks again, "they both left the same day you did, I thought they went with you." I slowly and quietly swim out from under the jetty and see Katsuki, he was with a boy who I have seen before, "Shitty hair?" Katsuki says when he notices me, "I need help," I answer softly, "what did you do?" Katsuki asks, "I accidentally killed someone," I mumble, "how do you accidentally do that?" Katsuki asks and jumps into the water, "I forgot that humans can't breathe underwater," I mumble, Katsuki looks at the man and drags him into the water and swims to a coral reef. He hits the man against the coral multiple times, then he pushes one of the coral through his back and it pokes through his chest, Katsuki growls and swims back to the jetty and climbs up the ladder, the green haired boy he was with helps him out. Then I follow, my tail is far heavier than Katukis, lucky bastard. The green haired boy helps me up and laughs, "always expect Kacchan to be merciless," he says, "whatever, but back to the topic on the King," Katsuki says, "right. Ochaco and I got away, only because she's the princess. But I haven't seen your parents," the boy says, "shit," Katsuki sighs, "sorry, but who're you?" I ask, "oh, Izuku," the green haired boy smiles, "childhood friend of mine," Katsuki sighs, Izuku smiles even brighter when Katsuki says that, I narrow my eyes at the boy and pull Katsuki into my arms, who just grumbles in response. 

"I'm going to look for my parents," Katsuki says and dives into the water again, "Katsuki!" I hiss, but he was gone. I shout and dive in after him, then Izuku did too, now I recognise him. His ear fins, long elegant green tail with yellow shines, halfway down his tail he has large fans that don't flare out like Katsukis ones, also his tail has two ovalish fins, like a split has gone down the middle, but it's meant to be like that... like a dolphin's tail! Lucky Mers, getting their tails different. All us Syrens have the same basic shape... that of a shark, long at the top and shorter at the bottom. With a small dorsal like fin at the top and two flat fins that are at the bottom but sit sideways, along with of course my large dorsal fin that is just above the part of my back that changes from my tail to my body. 

We swim in the direction of the Mer Kingdom and I see Katsuki was there with the King chasing him, I swim over and grab the King from behind, I bite into his shoulder and then I swim to the edge of the Kingdom, the King not even thinking twice about it and charging at me. He swims full speed and I avoid him, he swims straight into the Abyss. Without thinking I grab the Kings tail and swim down. "Eijiro!" I hear Katsuki shout, then Darkness. I look around but there is no light. Just the small circle of light high above. "Release me!"  the King shouts, I look around and see a light. I smile and swim towards it, still holding the Kings tail. The light is weird... its moving lightly away from me, I swim closer and then I see a whole lot of teeth! I scream and swim back, an angler fish! It moves towards me, its speed is incredible! I release the King and swim away from it. I look behind me and see blood covering the small amount of light, I shiver, I can't see the angler fish anymore! I look around but I can't see it. I move to swim up, but my tail hits something hard. I look down and see the light. I swim up but I feel teeth sink into the base of my tail. I scream and grab the fish' head and try to pry its mouth open. Nothing works. I look up and see the remains of the king... that was all the blood then... I look down at the fish... I am a Syren! I will not be bested by a fish! I lower myself and find a fleshy part of the fish and bite. It tightens its grip on my tail but I tear the flesh off the fish and bite again, tearing it up, again and again. All I can taste is blood. All I can smell is blood. All I see is darkness.
