My deepest thoughts were of Adrian. He was walking into a trap and didn't even know it. I felt so bad for him but there was nothing I could do...I was bound. Both Eric and Sam were quiet but it wasn't my business.

Lily walked in again...I was getting tired of seeing her face. She walked in with my phone.

'Adrian just called... he's at Hunter lane. I better go receive my boss properly,' she giggled in an evil way. There was nothing my eyes and curses would do to her but I pictured me free and beating her face to nothing and with that, I was comforted.

In walked Adrian, hands in the air and head low. When he lifted his face, he expressed shock to see me in the condition I was in. He ran to me and cupped my face in his hand...I twitched a bit...my entire body hurt plus we barely ate a decent food or drank water that was enough for a meal.

'What happened?' he asked me. See me see trouble...is he not seeing what happened or he can't interpret situations.

'I got a message from Eric...by the way,' I said rolling my eyes to their direction, 'that's Eric, my ex boyfriend and Sam. One moment, I was at Hunter lane waiting for him and next thing, I wake up bound...that's the summary.'

He turned to Lily but stopped half way when she pointed the gun at him.

'Why?' is all he asked.

'Don't waste your breath... she's daft and dumb too,' I mocked her.

'Your pretty mouth will close up soon Becky...keep up with the attitude and you'll lose everything on your body.' Facing Adrian, she motioned him to go on his knees beside me.

'You know why I enjoy the quarrel between these two,' she pointed to Sam and I, 'I want to watch them tear each other apart.'

'What will you gain eventually?' I asked, gasping for breath...I was too weak to talk or move...a little more detention and I would be gone with the wind.

'Save your strength Becky, you'll need it.' she walked out. I was so exhausted... practically, I couldn't see anything clearly anymore and with each passing hour, I felt like I was drawing my last breath. Sam had offered me her own share of food and I rejected_ merely cause I didn't want to start thanking her for saving my life. Eventually, I had no choice.

Eric kept asking me if I was okay and I answered nonchalantly, then he asked Sam and she nodded. I was so furious...'Get a room, both of you,' I yelled.

'What is wrong with you? You always find a way to make everything about yourself. You go to Nigeria and come back and you change completely...you talk to me anyhow...just because I'm silent doesn't mean I deserve that shit from you... enough is enough,' Sam yelled back and so we continued with both Adrian and Eric looking at us.

'Becky,' Adrian continued, 'this is what Lily wants...to see you yell each other to exhaustion. Don't let her get what she wants, okay.' He was right. Lily came in clapping and smiling...'very good,' she said, 'more of that please.'

'Well, I have a secret I want to share but before I do that, Sam, truth or dare?'

'Dare,' she said in anger. If only we knew this was her scheme, Sam wouldn't have chosen dare carelessly.

'Awesome...' she handed Sam a knife...'I need you to stab Becky...make her bleed.'

'What?' Sam turned to her...'you can't be serious.'

Lily pointed a gun at Sam...'damn I am. You picked dare, you do it.'

I looked at Sam...'go ahead...you took my boyfriend, you want my life so badly, you can now have it on a gold platter.'

'I took your boyfriend? What is the matter with you? I know how long I have been protecting your ass. You have no idea who's your friend or your enemy...'

'And you know who that is? Is it you?' I blurted out. Another heated argument ensued. Then there was a gunshot and we all became silent.

'Sam, you have a dare and I'm waiting...' Lily responded impatiently.

'For the record, I didn't take your boyfriend...you don't know the whole story and you won't care either...'

'You're damn right I won't but I'll indulge you. Who took my boyfriend?' I asked, looking around like I was trying to find the person.

'That would be me...'We all looked at Lily...'oops,' she replied with her mouth covered and without remorse.

I was so sleepy when I wrote this chapter...dunno how I even ended it before posting.
