Chapter 8~Attempted Escape pt. 1

"Hey zane do you think layla will like these cookies i baked for her"

Amy asked as both of them were walking towards the mansion,zane nodded and smiled as a yes but once they reached the mansion both stopped as they saw police and a paramedic just outside of the gate.

"I wonder what happened?"

She went to ask zane but he was no longer beside of her,instead he was already at the cordon talking to a gentleman.

He was 177 cm tall he had white hair and blue sapphire eyes,he was wearing a white shirt,black pants and long leather coat with black shoes.

"Hey zane what brings you here"

The white haired male said as he spotted zane as the end of the cordon,zane then looked towards the mansion and then to some of the maids and butlers.

"Ah i see well we received a report that one of the maid's was heading to layla's room to bring her medicine but as soon she arrived outside her door it was wide open and once walking inside she could see the bed empty.

Zane immediatly knew that the person who kidnapped layla was after her,he clutched his fists tightly as he clenched his teeth together.

"Layla was kidnapped!?"

A exclaimed voice yelled out the gentleman and zane looked over to see amy with tears forming,zane rested his hand on amy's head.

"Don't you worry i am going to bring her back"

He said he then moved his hand away,the gentleman called sion told him where she could be zane nodded then quickly made his way down the road.

"W..who are you?"

I asked this boy he smiled softly at me,then continued to cut the ropes once the ropes was cut and i was finally free this boy then helped me up.

"My name is loki and i have been watching over you"

He said i could see the kind and gentle soul within his eyes,he was telling the truth all of a sudden i heard a meow then looked over to see oscar.

"Oscar!?"

Surprised to see him i walked over and picked him up,as soon i did he snuggled into my arms purring.

"Anyways we gotten go and here is the way out"

Loki said as he walked over to a wall and pressed a panel,the wall then moved to the side revealing a tunnel with a set of stairs.

"This tunnel can lead us to the outside of the factory"

All of a sudden i began to hear the lock on the door beginning to turn,quickly we went down the set of stairs the wall behind us moved back to its original place.

The door then opened up once it was unlocked,two vampires entered the room that were wearing black and red cloaks the hoods were covering their faces.

"Tch..looks like the girl has escaped better tell him"

"Yeah and he won't be happy i will go and look for her you inform the master"

The hooded figure nodded then vanished,the second hooded figure left the room and began the search.

The hooded figure appeared in the office,he then bowed.

"Sir i have bad news the girl has escaped"

Knowing he won't be happy he held his breath,but the one who was sitting in the office chair looked down over to him then stood up.

"Is that so..well we have a problem then don't we"

He said in a cold tone of voice as he walked from behind his desk,to the hooded figure who looked up the one who was sitting in the chair grabbed him by the throat beginning to squeeze it.

"I am so disappointed in you..go and find her.."

He threw the cloaked figure to the ground,coughing and spluttering he quickly got to his feet and vanished.

"I won't lose her not after all the trouble i have been through!"

He growled as he slammed his fist against the wall,a giggle was heard as a red haired short haired girl with crimson eyes wearing a white top and black skirt with white socks and brown boots on.

"Now now my dear big brother there is no reason to be so mad"

She said as she walked over to the couch and sat down,the male looked at the girl with coldness.

"Oh don't worry little sis your big brother is not mad but a little annoyed besides i have a job for you if you find loki kill him and bring me the human girl"

The red haired girl smirked then stood up and vanished,the male walked over to the window and looked out.

"I won't let my plans fail me i will show my brother that i am the strongest of them all!"

Loki and i continued down the long tunnel,seeing the pipes on the ceiling and lamps we followed them.

"So um loki is it..um..do you know zane at all?"

Asking him he looked over to me and nodded with a smile,he then began to tell me what happened to him and how he came across zane.

I looked down at oscar who continued to purr in my arms,also i began to think how did he know that i was here.

"You know you should tell master zane how you feel you know"

He said i looked up at loki as we continued to walk down the tunnel,and why did he call zane master is there something he knows that i don't.

"Hey there is a ladder we can go up on it"

Loki told me pointing towards the ladder,i nodded and placed oscar onto my shoulder then slowly began to climb the ladder.

Reaching the top both of us managed to push the trap door shaft open, slowly i peeked out and seeing no one about i pushed it over then climbed out.

"The exit is just over there!"

I told loki once he climbed out both of us even oscar we headed over to the entrance of the shutters,but before we could two hooded figures appeared infront of us.

"Your not going anywhere girl!"

One said as he reached for me oscar hissed and bit his hand,i quickly ran to another way out which was by the emergency stairs but another hooded figure appeared and few more.
