Harper and James sat next to each other in Chemistry class while Stiles sat by the same tabel with them, making highlight in his textbook.
"Just a friendly reminder, parent/teacher conferences are tonight. Students below a 'C' average are required to attend. I won't name you, because the shame and self-disgust should be more than enough punishment" Mr. Harris said before he looked at the empty seat next to Stiles and saw that Scott was not there "Has anyone see Scott McCall?" he asked and Stiles looked up from the book with the highlighter's cap in his mouth.

Then the door to the classroom opened and Jackson walked in before taking a seat. Mr. Harris went over to him and put a hand on his shoulder "Hey Jackson. If you need to leave early for any reason you let me know" he said and Jackson nodded.
"Where is Lydia?" James whispered to Harper "She is at home, she is still in shock for what happen last night" she whispered back.
"Miss and Mr. Lupus" Mr. Harris said and the twins looked at him "Can I and the other teachers expect your parents to the parent/teacher conferences tonight?" Mr. Harris asked, "I am sorry, but no, they are still on a business trip" Harper said "Then we can arrange a meeting when they get back" Mr. Harris said "We don't know when they will come back, and when they are home they are very busy, but we tell them when they come home" James said and Mr. Harris nodded.
"How long are you going to tell people that?" Stiles whispered while he continued making highlight in his textbook "For as long as we can" James said.
"Everyone, start reading chapter nine" Mr. Harris said and the students opened up their books to chapter nine.
"Mr. Stilinski. Try putting the highlighter down between paragraphs. It's chemistry, not a coloring book" Mr. Harris said and Stiles spat the cap up before he caught it.
