Chapter 6

Currently we were walking in silence and that's when a fowl stench crossed my nose, "Why are there dead bodies littering the place?" I asked, my breathing picking up slightly. I looked towards Murphy and moved over to him. I grabbed his hand and he took it easily.

As we walked further I heard a cry, "HELP! Please!" I ran to the edge and saw a girl, I immediately reached into a pack I had, most Trikru had one. I pulled my rope out and tied it to a tree stump; I was about to go over the edge when Sterling said "No, your pregnant. We can't risk losing you, a future child, especially a child of our own blood." My eyes widened, did he think my child would be Skaikru. I scowled.

"I may be helping you sky boy, but my child will never be Skaikru," I stated and I walked to the tree to try and keep it steady. I watched as Finn stared at me, most likely thinking I was choosing grounders. I am only here for my boyfriend.

I watched as the rope started slipping and I grabbed for it and it slipped and I screamed trying to grab it.

I walked away going to the nearest village, I knew Murphy knew he would see me soon. I tried my hardest to not cry; as I saw the village I saw Nyko.

"Where's Octavia?" He shrugged and continued on with his day, for the rest of the day I helped out with my people. I noticed them in the forest but never walked over to them; Finn wasn't in his right mind right now and I couldn't be bothered dealing with that.

Although I went to check on them at nightfall and they weren't there, I heard screaming and I ran and saw the food stock was on fire. "Fuck!" I ran and started helping out and I heard someone scream in our language, "Skaikru intruders!" I ran as fast as I could and I saw Finn walk out while shooting in the air, he looked at me and forced me into the ring with all the other Trikru villagers.

I was shaking and could feel a dull pain in my legs from sitting down too long, I watched as Finn brought a jacket out, "This was one of ours!" He screamed and I saw Murphy try to get him to leave.

"Finn, no ones here, I swear it." I begged and I saw him look at me and then yank up Matilda. He pushed her into the ground and pointed a gun at her head, "MOTHER!" I heard Cal scream and I looked at him and saw the look in his eyes, "Finn! Stop! She has a family! Finn! Kill me instead! Kill me." I begged over and over again.

He finally released her and relief filled my whole body; and then they got up and started running. I screamed when Finn kept shooting, Murphy and I were screaming for him to stop, he aimed a gun at a child and I pushed her out of the way . I felt the pain in my lower stomach and my shoulder. I didn't understand the lower half of my body until I felt it.

"No!" I heard Murphy scream, I dropped to the ground holding the area where it hurt most. It was too early, way too early. "John, stop it! You have to stop it! It's too early! It's too early!" I screamed as the tears ran down my face. I saw him and Clarke approach me.

"He only shot her shoulder, what's wrong with her?" I heard Clarke ask, I started sobbing more, "It's too early, stop it, stop it! Please stop it! It's too early!" I yelled, I saw realisation cross Murphy's face, his eyes widened. "What do we do?! What do I do! Amelia! What do we do?! What we do Lia?? Lia! Answer us!" I just kept crying as I felt the pain and then realised it was too late, the baby was already here. "Just get it out Clarke....it's too late, we're too late." I said quietly.

5 hours ago we got back to camp, 6 hours ago the child was removed from my stomach. I hadn't said a word to anyone, I hadn't seen anyone... I was left broken. "Lia?" I heard Murphy's voice, I looked up and I saw him, he looked broken. I held out my arms and he was in them and sobbing. I soon joined him.

"He has to die J, he did this to us...he killed the baby." I said emotionlessly; his head shot up and he saw the all to familiar look, but he saw it disappear as I looked at him.

"You aren't a murderer Lia," he whispered, my eyes widened and tears once again welled in my eyes, "No? Well then what am I? INNOCENT?!" I yelled at the end and I got up wanting to find Finn, I wanted to kill him.

After about an hour I finally found him talking to Clarke "Finn? Can I speak with you?" I had made up my mind, I was going to help protect him, I was a lot like him.

"You're what?!" He asked shocked. I nodded and walked away, I had explained everything to him, plus the baby bump hadn't gone down and I was going to ask about that.

"Abby? Tell me. What do you know??" She had checked me and was stunned, I was nervous to what she had found. "You're still pregnant.... I think that miscarriage was already dead, but it may of been a twin... maybe your body got rid of the dead child so your other child could thrive." I was shocked and walked out of the hospital room and went to find my boyfriend.

"J, I'm still pregnant...if you want details then ask Abby. But I'm still pregnant."
