I fall back, astonished. Right there, in front of me, is a holographic man, he has grey eyes, black hair that's combed to the back of his head, and is wearing a white tuxedo, with a black and grey striped tie.
" Hello, Natalie Silver," he says, talking with the same voice from my dream," I've heard so much about you."
" Who the heck do you think you are, and how the fuck do you know my name?!" I screamed.
" I am Dendron, I know many things, and, I will be your tutor," he says, and he hesitates saying the next thing," I also have a request for you."
" And what's that?" I ask, not liking this one bit.
" I want you to go to the cemetery in your town and find the name Gabriella Silver," he explains.
What? Does he think Imma just do what he asks? Just like that?
" Wow, wow! Wait just a second! Two things:
One: Do you just expect me to go along with all this shit?
Two: Gabriella's last name is Silver, is she like my grandma, great-grandma, or what?" I questioned.
Dendron seems taken aback, but that fades in seconds.
" No, I do not expect you to just go along with this all of a sudden, but your the only one who's strong enough for this mission! And, yes... Gabriella is your Great Grandmother.." Dendron explains.
This hits me like a bullet.
Why has dad been keeping this from me?
And for how long?
Wait.
" Did, did Gabriella have powers too?" I ask, fidgeting with the hem of my shirt.
" Yes, actually, she was the most powerful NYLE in all the lands until she died of old age," Dendron responded.
What?
" Did my dad know? That she had powers? And if he did why didn't he tell me?" I question Dendron.
" Yes, he did know, but he didn't tell you because that would've caused a war between The Fire Realm and The Infinite Lands, he wanted to protect you," Dendron explained.
" Is that why you chose me? Is that why you chose me to go through all this hell of a mission? Because if that's so, then no. I'm sorry but this is all too much for me," I say.
Ding!
I take out my phone to see a text message from Cleo.
Cleo: R u almost done?! We've been done setting everything up ten minutes ago! If ur not gonna b here soon, then we're gonna eat it aaallll up!
I reply back.
Me: Ok! Ok! And don't u dare eat anything yet! Or else imma kill you!
I put my phone back in my pocket and face Dendron.
" I have to go," I say.
" Please think about what I have said!" Dendron begs.
I don't say anything. I take the crystal, and he's gone. I turn and go to the exit.

" There you are! What took you so long?!" Cleo asks.
" Sorry, I had a bit of a problem," I reply.
" Do you have your period? If so I have pads In my bag if you want," Brooke offers.
" Nah, I'm good," I say," Now let's eat!"
We all settle down and start munching on the scrumptious food.
We talk.
We eat.
But I can't take my mind off of Dendron and his stupid quest for me. Will I actually find answers 'bout all this shit? Or his he trying to fuck with my mind? Ugh! This is so annoying! My thoughts are interrupted when Brooke asks," So, Natalie, do you have a crush on anyone yet?"
" What? Isn't it a bit early to ask me that?" I respond.
" If you say yours I'll say mine!" Cleo countered.
" I'll say mine too, then," Brooke pipes up.
" Ok then...." I say, unsure," but I don't have one."
" Aw," They both coo.
" Is there something wrong with that?" I ask.
" Yes!" Brooke exclaims.
" Thanks, but I think you guys are gonna have to wait a couple months or so for that to happen," I reply," And, um, I need you to take me somewhere."
They both look at me weirdly.
" And where exactly is that?" Cleo asks.
" Er.... the cemetery," i reply," my Great Grandma died here and I have something to give her."
" Aw, well that's sad! Of coarse I can drive you there!" Brooke comforts.
" Thanks," I respond," Now let's eat so we can go!"
We munch on a bit of everything 'till it's gone. And, man! That was a hell of a meal! ( and by that I mean plain!)

Once we're in the car and on the way to the cemetery I check my phone.
It's 5:47.
No texts.
No feedback on my Insta.
No nothing.
But there was tension in the air, and by that i mean I feel a gnawing pain rising In my chest. The car was silent the whole ride, and none of us bother to change that. I honestly don't mind, the silence is comforting, in a way.
Once we arrive at the cemetery I tell the girls to stay behind and that Imma make it quick. I walk around trying to find the right name.
Cassandra Stone, nope.
Alexander Smith, nope.
Naomi Stein Field, nope.
Jeremy Stentor, nope.
And on and on.
Until......
Gabriella Silver.
Yes!
I bend down and rest my tired legs on the soft grass. What am I supposed to do now?
There was a rose, placed by the grave, it was old, and grey. But it is only one. Did only one person care about her? How ridiculous! I take the rose and place it to my heart.
I hope you had a good life, Great Grandma Gabby.
I sit there, staring at the blank grave. And suddenly it feels like the rose is tickling me. Not the way that makes you laugh, though. It's more like a magical sensation.
Oh whatever.
I gently place the rose back down, and stand up.
What was the use of this?
I don't know.
I trot back to the limousine.
I stare into the tinted window.
What the hell???
