A small key to make Reading not so confusing:
Underline: Thoughs
Bold: Octarian speaking
Both: Octarain thinking

The young female octoling shielded herself the best she could under the rain with the free splatbrellas that square gives out to anyone during the rain: It's practically lethal to Inklings and Octarians, so it was a dead no brainer that they would put these out for inklings.

She was honestly shocked that nobody could tell she was an octoling, an enemy, were inklings honestly um...... not bright? Sure let's go with that.

She glide her fingers along the rim of her googles. Luckily the octoling gear is wearable and is also semi popular trend among inklings so it wasn't suspicious, but she desperately wanted to get out of these clothes and into some new ones; They are a bad memory on repeat of who she really was: Marina Ida, the elite Octoling Engineer. She was apart of the group that is responsible for causing havoc on this peaceful society.

Marina was lost in thought that she didn't see anything inkling walk up to her. "Hey!" The voice broke the trance as she looked and the figure in front of her.

They were a rather short inkling, they looked to be a young one but their eyes seemed to be much more older than her. "Are you going to talk or what?" The inkling said.

Marina couldn't speak the inkling language, but she could understand it much to the point that she could hold a conversation. "Sorry..." She said looking away from the shorter figure.

"So they can talk." The inkling thought, "Why on earth you are out during a rainstorm?" The octoling thought of this herself, Why was she out here?

"What is that word that they use to address themselves..... It it 'I'?" Marina thought to herself, trying to form a sentence. "I.... I new. No wear. to go." She was truely being honest about being new and that she had nowhere to go.

"She talks kinda of funny too.... Maybe she moved here from somewhere else?" The inkling thought. "So you have no where to stay?" The shorter figured said. Marina nods her head slowly. "Well then, come on!" She moved her hand towards Marina, she looked puzzled but grabbed her hand.

The inkling noticed that her hands looked different, her tips were a gradient of her ink color, but she continued to drag Marina with her to their home.
