A Star lost in Winter

Chapter 3: Hospital and heartbreak

Ring ring ring

"Hello, Winter speaking"

"Hello? Is this Winter Nightfall?"

"Yes. Who is this?" Winter says suspiciously.

"This is nurse Jones. I had a request from Star Blazer to call you"

"WHAT? OMG IS HE ALRIGHT?!" Winters heart skips a beat.

"Calm down Mr. Nightfall Star had a little accident with a semi-truck. He's fine. If you wanna see him then come down to Vislant General"

"Okay okay thank you miss." Winter hangs up the phone.

He grabs his coat and his keys and rushes down the front steps.
I hope he's alright. He needs to see me. I need to comfort him.

He gets into his car and makes his way to the hospital in Gorge Rails just forty-five minutes away.

Finally he arrives at Vislant General.

He rushes out if the car and into the hospital. He rushes to the desk and asks the receptionist about Star and she asks a nurse to escort Winter to Star's room. Winters heart beats faster as he imagines the worst.

  Relief floods Winters face as he sees that star is fine with the exception of a sling on his arm but his heart drops as he sees another guy and Star kissing. Winter drops his bag and shakes his head. His heart breaks at that very moment. 

"I thought we had something...." Winter says in a heartbroken tone.

Winter runs out of the room crying, accidentally leaving his bag on the floor. 

Star pushes Dale off of him and unhooks the vitals attached to him and runs after Winter.

Winter is no where to be found.  All the adrenaline drains out of him as he collapses to the floor. Nurses rush to him and put him back into th hospital bed as he loses consciousness. All he thinks about is Winter and how he failed him.
