A Star lost in Winter

Chapter 9: Misinformation and Heartbreak

5 months have passed...

Winter smiles as he holds Star's hand while they sit on an old, weathered bench in the middle of Semi Plaza. He never stops smiling when he's around Star. His lover, his life, his musts and to be's .The felling of love flows in him as he keeps smiling like a idiot.
"Hehe. What are you smiling about Winty?" Star asks with a smile.
"I love you Star. That's why I'm smiling. Never have I been so happy before. I just can't believe that you're actually mine." Winter smiles and gives a look of pure bliss. Winter leans against Star and nuzzles him. "Well aren't you the cutest.^^." Star smiles, leans down, and kisses Winter on the lips.
As they kiss they hear yelling from behind.
"FAGOTS!I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL!" the anonymous voice yells. Winter ignores the comment.
A rock sails over their heads and shatters against the sidewalk in front of them.
"What the hell is going on over there?" Star sits up and another one sails over their head again, but a little closer now.
A fox with yellow eyes and a hunched back is the culprit. Star stands up and frowns.
"What are you doing?! Leave us alone!" Star shouts at the fox. The fox picks up another rock and throws it at Star. In a moment of adrenaline,Winter gets up and runs toward the mischievous fox with amazing speed. Winter proceeds to tackle him to the ground and pin him. In a calm voice Winter asks politely
  "Why do you feel the need to make fun of love? That is so petty and you could be doing something better with your time."
The fox looks at Winter with a terrified expression. "I...uh...err.."
"Cat got your tongue? Did you not hear me?" Winter grips the fox's arms harder. The helpless fox yelps in pain.
"Winter let him go. You're scaring me and can't you see he's to scared to talk" Star speaks up as he watches the scene unfold.
