I got up and started looking around. "Who are you, exactly?" Ardin questioned, startling me to the point that I visibly jumped. I looked over to her, the fog seeming to clear up. "I'm Oliver, The Mighty Demon King." I said, sassily. She giggled "I didn't know you were British." She said, completely ignoring the fact that I called myself a demon king.

I stared at her. "I spoke to you earlier," I said in a quite voice. She nodded. "Yeah, but I couldn't really here you're voice," she trailed off. "Oh lord—uh, yes..well no! I'm actually Australian." I stated, matter-of-factly.

She just eyed me as I started to ramble about the origins of my heritage. "...and that is believed to have come from a goat. Did you know, most people think demons come from goats? Well, they don't. They come from....."I stopped talking. She wasn't listening, she just stared at me. Then, she noticed that I had stopped talking.

"Oh—sorry, what?" She asked as if she wasn't just studying my features. "I know I look good. But you didn't hear what I had to say." I said, getting petty. She just nervously giggled. I looked over to her and glared. "I won't hesitate to kill you." I said darkly. Her eyes widened, "Woah, woah, woah! What did I do wrong?!" She asked, rather quickly.

"You stole my heart. I want it back. Or..." I trailed off. She blinked, then flailed her arms. "O-or what?! Come on you have to tell me! Or what?!" She shouted. I simply smirked. She pressed her hands together. "Please! Tell me, I'll do anything!" She said. "You either let me kill you or give me your heart." I said, she seemed to zone out again.

Then she blinked. "W-what? Like, literally give you my heart?!" She seemed perplexed. I slammed my hand to my forehead. "Oh bless your dying soul." I said under my breath. "No, I want you to love me. If you won't love me then I'll need your soul." I told her. She gave me another confused look.

I rolled my eyes. "I need your soul to live. I can either live off of your soul, or off of your love—since I have fallen for you..." I explained. She looked as if everything I said started to click. She then said "Um, I'll try to love you. I can't promise that I will." I just nodded towards her statement.

We sat underneath a tree, since the sun was still beating down on us. The shade brought out Ardin's dark brown eyes, and her crimson red hair glistened in the sun's rays. I smiled and leaned against the tree. ֆɦɛ'ֆ ֆօʍɛօռɛ ȶɦǟȶ ɨ'ʟʟ ռɛʋɛʀ ʄօʀɢɛȶ.
