"Ardin!" I repeated again. I heard another pair of feet stomp up the stairs behind me. I glanced back seeing Asher and threw him a glare.

I busted into Ardin's room to find a broken glass and blood. She would never leave me, right? ฿Ɇ₵₳Ʉ₴Ɇ ł₣ ₴ⱧɆ ĐłĐ, ₴ⱧɆ'Đ ĐłɆ.

I looked around the room once again and saw her in the corner of her room. She seemed to be glaring behind the door.

"Ardin, darling, are you alright?" I questioned, my accent matching the thick tension. Her gaze softened when she met my eyes and a small smile appeared on her face.

"Yes, the mirror just tried to grab—" She stopped mid-sentence as she realized that there was another presence in the room. "Who...is that?" She said reluctantly. I looked over my shoulder and saw Asher giving a lovesick stare toward my dearest sweet Ardin.

"That," I pointed to Asher. "is Asher. He's new here, and he's survived." I introduced him. Asher snapped out of his dreamlike state and smiled politely at Ardin. I cleared my throat.

In a mere second, they both snapped their heads towards me and showed me their attention. "My darling, Ardin, clean this mess up. I'll have a talk with our visitor about the rules." I smirked slightly.

As I exited Ardin's room, Asher followed me out like a lost puppy—which he sort of was. I walked towards the upstairs living room and sat on the sofa, patting a seat beside me for Asher to sit in.

When Asher say down, my polite and welcoming demeanor changed into a violent and hostile one. "Rule number one, Don't touch Ardin. Rule number two, I have full control over you. Rule number three, if a new visitor happens to appear, you will act as if I'm kind and innocent. Rule number four, when I'm away, you should always be doing something productive." I stated nonchalantly.

Asher nodded in response. I wasn't expecting that, I thought he would've attacked me. I sighed and left the room, motioning for Asher to follow. After climbing another stair case, we made it to the third floor.

I continued walking forward and took a left before the second pair of stairs. This used to be an old high school with dormitories, but now it's my house.

The fifth door was his room. I opened the door and snapped my fingers. "And rule number five, the magic that occurs here stays a secret." I said arrogantly. His eyes were wide, but he still nodded. The room was decorated with furniture and the door had his name carved into it.

"This is your room. You'll be spending most of your nights in this room. And when you're not....you'll just have to find out." I said, walking away shortly after.
