From the back emerged two new children, who looked identical to each other, except one kept voice cracking.
"Hey we are closet weebs and I like girls." said the one on the left, who was decked out in full yellow making him look like a banana.
"Hey I'm slightly less of a closet weeb and I'm confused about my sexuality." said the one on the right, who had boots on making him look like Woody from Toy Story.
And Theodoria spoke her first words.
"Uh. Okay."
Tom spoke up.
"Josiah-"
The one on the left snapped to attention.
"Joel-"
The one on the right snapped to attention.
"Introduce Theodoria–a little bit–as I sort things out with your father–"
Grape-kun looked mildly miffed.
"Hi, we don't actually talk a lot in real life but for the sake of this story we're going too because I don't want to have to show Theodoria being an idiot for an entire year."
Also please don't kill me.

"Grape-kun is our father. He is a grape."
Theodoria nodded.
"Tom is also our father. He is not a grape."
Theodoria raised her hand.
"Yes, Theo-is it Theodoria?"
Theodoria nodded.
"Yeah go ahead."
"So, you have two dads? So like, uh, they're gay?"
"Why? Are you homophobic?" asked the one on the left.
At the word "homophobic", the one on the right perked up.
"HOMOPHOBIC? WHY HELLO THERE FEAR THE RAINBOW DO YOU APPRECIATE THE GAY ARE YOU FEELING IT NOW DO YOU ENJOY THIS RAINBOW-"
"Joel–no–"
"No, I'm not homophobic I'm just curious I haven't seen gay before-"
The one on the right let his shoulders down.
"Oh. Aw. Ok."
