"Alexis." I breathed as I stare at him dumbfounded.

"Hey cupcake." He softly said and reached for me to envelope me in a tight hug.

I cried in his chest as it dawned to me that he's really here, his back.

"I missed you, you idiot. I didn't even know you're back." I cried as I hugged him even tighter.

He laughed softly as I felt his chest vibrate against my cheeks. "I wanted to surprise you. And besides, I wouldn't miss this day for the world. Happy birthday cupcake." He said and gently kissed my cheek.

I immediately smiled at his sweet gesture. "I'm glad you made it Alexis."

"That was way too cheesy cupcake." He said as he playfully smirked at me.

I groaned at him and said, "You really have a way in ruining a moment don't you?"

"But you love me anyways." He said arrogantly.

I snorted at him. "You wish."
