Hi everyone!

To anyone that has read this story and continued to support me through all my inconsistent uploading and false promises, thank you. I appreciate all of you and every read, comment, or like.

It may come as a surprise, but I honestly hate looking back at this story. It's so cringy and awkward at most points, and every time I look back at it through the comments I receive, it takes so much out of me to NOT delete it. This story will always be my first completed, kind of original plot and that is something I need to learn to love.

So many parts of this story were never meant to happen and there was so much that I wanted to include but because I enjoy writing as I go, my mind ended up bringing me to different scenarios. While I so desperately would love to go back through and edit, change, and completely switch up the entire story, I know I would just get frustrated and delete the whole thing.

For those who are interested in what this story was missing and what I never intended to happen, here's a quick summary:

WHAT WAS MEANT TO HAPPEN:

The rumor was meant to be started by Eli because he also had feelings for Liz and wanted to break Connor and Liz apart. Ellie was meant to help Eli successfully break them up because she was rooting for Eli to win Liz over, but it was all going to be revealed and Liz would have stopped being friends with both of them. By the time the rumors came out, Connor would've been moving forward, trying to figure out what his next step was now that sports were out of the picture for a while.

Without her friends to go to, Liz would've found herself going to their English teacher, Mr. Porter. HE WAS NEVER MEANT TO COME ACROSS AS A CREEPY PERV TEACHER OMG. He was just meant to be a genuine teacher who cared for his students and wanted the best for them. Sure his advice wasn't always that great, but he was just doing his best off of the gossip he heard from other students. Anyways, she would've continued on for the rest of the year without Ellie and Eli, but along the way, she would've found new and improved, much better people.

FOR EVERYONE WHO WANTED A HAPPY ENDING, THIS IS WHAT IT WOULD'VE BEEN FOR THE ENDING:

Skip ahead to later in the year, Connor and Liz would have ended up partnered together for a final school project where they'd have to set up a station for a fake college fair. Since they were both undecided with where they wanted to go and what major they were thinking about, the school counselor partnered them together. While creating their project and trying to figure out the next step in their life, they realize their feelings for each other are still very present.

They end up deciding to give their relationship another shot, taking a gap year abroad together before finally settling and figuring out the rest of their life.

THE SEQUEL IS IN THE WORKS PEOPLE. I FOUND INSPIRATION AND IT WILL HOPEFULLY BE UP SOON! IT WILL TAKE PLACE IN THEIR COLLEGE YEARS AND IT WILL BE MORE FOCUSED ON CONNOR AND HIS POV RATHER THAN ELIZABETH BECAUSE CONNOR IS MY FAVE.
