He was the one they'd tell you scary stories about. He was a demon, chained down in heaven by shackles and metal that scarred his skin. He was the embodiment of evil. Exactly what everyone wanted him to be.
And his name was Thanatos.
Raven was barely making it through her days. Heart cancer and coughing up blood was normal for her. She was dying much faster than everyone around her, and there was nothing anybody could do about it.
So when she's attacked by four men, with skin so pale, eyes the color of dripping blood, and fangs sharp enough to kill, her life flashed between her eyes. So she did the only thing she had the strength to do.
Scream.
The sound of her pain could've destroyed him. A monster that hadn't moved a muscle in centuries, was now hell-bent on finding her. His Raven. But there's a war brewing, and nobody is safe.
