TW: vomit (non descriptive)
Aizawa woke up and immediately vomited into the trash can next to his bed. He consistently forgot that the medication he was one made him more susceptible to becoming drunk, as he didn't drink very often.
Well, getting wasted after 3 drinks is better than being depressed. And to be fair, it was hard liquor. (He was trying to impress Toshinori).
He groggily got out of bed and went to go wash the puke out of his mouth.
As he gargled mouth wash, he thought about the night before, and to be honest he didn't remember a whole lot.
They talked a little bit, got their food, talked more, Aizawa got pissed, wait. 'Why did I get pissed again? What were we talking about?' He spat out the mouthwash and looked at himself in the mirror. He remembered going home in a taxi, and thinking to himself how it was the first female taxi driver he's seen.
It was something theoretical. He thought it was something theoretical.
'OH'
Thats what it was.
Shouta buried his face in his hands, deeply unsettled. 'Toshinori was just trying to make things less awkward, he doesn't really have feelings for me, he must have seen me blush once or twice. He obviously doesn't want any kind of relationship. In fact, I should just pretend the whole thing never happened. That would fix this. Bringing it back up would be awkward,' Aizawa tried to reassure himself.
However, he had no clue how Toshinori really felt about him.
Yagi was walking to school, in his smaller form as to not gain attention from passersby. He tried really hard to move on from last night. Aizawa was drunk. Anything he said should be taken with a grain of salt. Right? He couldn't remember if drunk people say how they really feel, or if they lie. Either way, it doesn't matter.
He had to move on.
He tried moving on.
He kept dwelling on it. Well, dwelling on him.
He thought about Aizawa's sleek figure, his jawline, and his eyes. He thought about how guarded he was, yet how vulnerable he was deep down. He thought about how cute he looked when he was eating those french fries, ever so flush from alcohol. He thought about what it would be like to be with him, wake up to Shouta beside him, going on dates... The thought made him smile and blush. Yup, he was definitely bi.
Yagi shook his head. 'I can't be thinking like this about a coworker! Whether this is reciprocated or not, it is strictly unprofessional. I could be fired for pursuing this! Right?' he didn't actually know UA's rules on employee relations. But, better to be safe then sorry.
As Toshinori was about to open the door, he saw Aizawa in the corner of his eye. He looked undead.
"Everything alright, Aizawa? You were pretty drunk last night,"
"I'm fine," Shouta said groggily. Aizawa didn't even want to make eye contact. He knew if he did, he would get nervous.
Toshinori opened the door for Aizawa. "I'm sure Yamada has a few good hangover cures, if not, coffee always does the trick for me,"
"Thanks but I'm fine," Aizawa kept his head down and scuttled towards his classroom.
'I think he's embarrassed about last night. I won't talk about it, but I'll show him nothing's weird now,' Toshinori was about 15 minutes earlier than usual, just enough time to go to the cafe next door and get him some hot coffee! After this, he'll stop poking. Toshi hated the idea of being on bad terms with someone. Besides, he has gotten Shouta coffee before, so its not strange.
Aizawa looked at the clock. There was still a solid half an hour before class started. All his lesson plans were finished, and all his papers were graded (at least the ones he needed to hand back today). He had nothing to do. Shouta went to his yellow sleeping bag in the corner of the room, and took of his shoes to take a nap. Just as he was stepping in, the door creaked open.
"Hey Aizawa, I know you said you were fine, but I was already going to the cafe, so I got you some coffee," Toshinori smiled.
"Uh, thanks," Aizawa went to grab the coffee out of Toshinori's hand, and. inevitably, touched Toshinori's hand. Yagi's skin was tough, and calloused, from years of hero work. But still, there was a gentleness there, in the way he let go of the cup.
Aizawa had no idea how attractive he looked in that moment. His face was light pink, and his mouth ever so slightly parted in surprise. His hands were soft and small (well, smaller than Toshinori's), yet bony. Toshinori immediately became flustered.
Aizawa noticed he was flustered. He made a split second decision, a decision that he knew he could regret. A decision that would change everything, for worse or for better. A decision that he wanted to do for god knows how long.
Aizawa put his free hand on Toshinori's cheek, and Toshinori stared shaking a little. It had been so long since anyone had touched him, this way. He was nervous.
Aizawa noticed this, and fluidly set his coffee down on a desk. He placed his now free hand on the small of Yagi's back, pulling him towards himself.
Toshinori grabbed Aizawa's chin, and guided his lips towards his own, then wrapped his arm around Shouta, pulling him closer, deepening the kiss.
Neither of them had felt this way in a long time, if ever. This felt far more powerful than any relationship they each had in the past. Maybe it was the time passing, and being touch starved. Maybe it was the taboo of being at work, and the risk of being caught. Whatever the reason may have been, neither was thinking straight, nor with words. It was primal, in a way, acting on instinct despite location. Their surroundings were devoid to them. After about thirty seconds, they gained touch with reality, in an unfortunate way.
"I think I'm interrupting something. I'm just gonna go," Yamada said, walking swiftly out of the room. Aizawa and Toshinori immediately chased after him, and dragged him back in.
Aizawa locked the door. "...Please don't say anything,"
"Wait, you think I'm gonna say something? I'm not a dick! Do whatever, or, uh, whoever, you want," he said looking at Toshinori.
"Wait, are there rules against, office relationships?" Toshinori said nervously.
"First of all, this is not a relationship. Second of all, not really, but it is frowned upon. Plus, if the students find out, it would not be good. Anyway, so you promise not to say anything to anyone?"
"I really don't have a reason to, besides, you just said this isn't like, serious, who am I to tell the world about your flings? And if word got out that All Might isn't, well, straight, that wouldn't fly with the media right away,"
"Fair enough," Toshinori sighed. He had never thought about that.
"You're free to go I guess," Shouta gestured towards the door, and Yamada unlocked it and walked out, closing it behind him, winking.
Aizawa pressed his face in his hands, then grabbed his coffee.
"So, now what?" Toshinori asked.
"Well, do you want anything, like between us? I'm down for whatever,"
Yagi turned bright red. "I mean, if you do..."
"Sure,"
"Then, wanna come to my place for dinner tonight?"
"Wow, dinner two nights in a row, what a gentleman," Aizawa sipped his coffee.
"Wait! I mean, uh, we can do something else if you want, or dinner tomorrow night, or-"
Aizawa walked over and put his finger on Toshinori's lips. "Dinner tonight is fine. Just text me your address,"
Yagi smiled. "Yeah, sure!"
