Episode 20

Tanya and Mubaek meet again at the Great Temple secretly.

"What about Karika Xabara?"

"We managed to help her escape safely."

Tanya sighed in relief, "thank gods."

"But where is Yangcha?" Tanya asked again.

"Tagon Niruha ordered Mugwang, Bakyangpung, Mungtae and Yangcha to monitor the situation there for several days."

Tanya nodded in understanding. A little relief because that means Yangcha is still alive.

Bakyangpung sighed several times.

"Why? Are you tired?" Mugwang asked.

"Will he be all right?" Murmured Bakyangpung who looked worried.

Mugwang chuckled, "why are you worried about that mute boy?"

"Not him, but the fat guy. We all know, Yangcha is the best Daekan and a potential successor to Mubaek."

"Don't speak haphazardly! The candidate to replace Mubaek is me, his biological brother!" Mugwang snapped.

Bakyangpung snickered furtively.

"But you're also right, Niruha shouldn't have sent the fat guy to take care of that mission..." Mugwang said.

A day before the day of the attack, Tagon gave Mugwang a special mission. If Yangcha is not killed on the battlefield, he must kill him.

But suddenly Mungtae interrupted, "Niruha, let me kill him."

"Hey, you're nothing compared to him. Your body is just big, but he's much stronger than you," Mugwang said.

"I will attack him when he fall asleep," Mungtae said stubbornly. "He has been harassing our chieftain, it is the same with harassing us."

"All right," said Tagon permitting, "do it."

Mungtae's hammer swung toward Yangcha's head. Suddenly Yangcha opened his eyes and rolled over, so the hammer only hit the ground.

Mungtae attacks again, but Yangcha dodges it. Yangcha managed to grab his sword while crawling out of the collapsed tent.

Mungtae removed the tent cloth and approached Yangcha who was still sitting on the ground. Once again he swinging his hammer, Yangcha endured it with his sword.

"You ... you have taken Tanya's virginity," Mungtae growled.

Yangcha frowned not understanding.

"You raped her!"

 Yangcha stared wide while shaking his head.

"No... I never did that..." Yangcha wanted to say this but what came out of his mouth were words that couldn't be heard clearly.

Yangcha managed to push the hammer with his sword and kick Mungtae's stomach. The fat man fell on his back. The two of them stood up and clashed with each other. But finally Yangcha's sword broke the hammer's head from the hilt. With a quick and agile movement, Yangcha spun behind Mungtae, jumped, then nudged the man's neck hard. Mungtae fell down and was unconscious.

Yangcha looked around, there were no Mugwang and Bakyangpung.

"What is really happened?"

Tanya's anxiety reappeared when she saw Mugwang and Bakyangpung go back alone, without Yangcha and Mungtae. She could not ask Mubaek because he was being assigned by Tagon outside the city.
