"No no, I just wanna ask if we could be friends?"

I don't know how many times I've been repeating that sentence in my mind.

I don't think I'm pretty enough to attract such high standard man..

Without even thinking twice, my hand started to write everything he said as I tried so hard to remember every single scene.

"From now on, this book is gonna be my diary."

I looked at the clock showing 10:38pm. I yawned.

I stood up and packed my books before I went to bed.

Earlier this morning...

I yawned as I took a seat at one of the tables in the cafeteria, with my hands holding a tray full of foods.

"These guys are always late and my hungry self won't wait for them because these food looks tasty," I said to myself, smacking my lips.

I started eating without my friends, Byeongkwan and Sehyoon, even though they always say to wait for them.

As I was slurping on my soup, a guy came up to me. I've never really seen him before in this school. Maybe because I don't really pay attention to my surroundings.. especially when I have food in front of me.

"Hi," he waved at me. That was kind of cute.

"Oh, hi," I put down my spoon to wave back. "You want my soup or what?" I then facepalmed because that was kind of a dumb question to ask.

He chuckled, "no no, I just wanna ask if we could be friends? Sorry if this is so sudden."

"Me? Friends with me?" I pointed on my forehead.

"Yea you, can we?"

"I mean, yes, of course," I smiled. I somehow feel so happy that I got a new friend. A good looking one too.

"My name is Kang Yoochan," he pulled out his right hand from his pocket to shake my hand.

"Oh I'm-" I got cut off as another guy came up to him saying that their teacher is calling.

"Sorry I have to go, see you next time," he flashed me a smile before he ran off.

That smile he gave, I'm pretty sure it could make any people's days because it just made mine. He left me smiling on my own while staring at my soup like an idiot..

"Man.. this soup is tasty but that smile though," I let out a short laugh.

Byeongkwan and Sehyoon then finally arrived. I looked up at them while still having that smile plastered on my face.

"Are you that happy that we're here?" Byeongkwan gave me a judging look.

"I'm not smiling because of you guys." I continued slurping.

"Sorry we're late, now we have to rush again." Sehyoon said before he started eating.

"I wanted to thank you guys for being late though." I giggled and that made me choke on my soup.

"Calm down dude, I know the soup is good," Byeongkwan talked with bread in his mouth, while patting my back.

"I know, it's really great, thanks," I said in between my coughs.

After we finished eating, we went back to our own class.

The lessons are boring as usual, but somehow I couldn't get him off my mind the whole time. This can't be...
