It was another day in the palace. Spinel was bored out of her mind. The diamonds had to do some business on one of their colony's, and the Pearl's of course had to assist them so she was all alone in this huge palace.

Recently the Diamonds Notice how Spinel was always bored and when they had time for her a new assignment or problem was up. They started to worry about Spinel and didn't want her to feel alone. Then a bright idea came to mind.

" Oh, Spinel! We have a surprise for you!" White diamond called capturing the attention of Spinel. " Yeah white?" She replied." Well we know how boring it get without us around" blue began as yellow finishes, " so we decided to give you a new friend to entertain yourself."

They handed Spinel a star shaped gem. " We hope you like it." Spinel was filled with overjoy. " Oh! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! You guys are the best!" The diamonds all left the room and Spinel waited for her new friend to reform. After awhile the gem glowed and float in the air. Spinel watched, beaming with excitement.

The gem formed in a cute and cuddly manner. She looked like an adorable baby. " Hiya there, new best friend!" She said but not as energetic as Spinel's old form. " Hey there um- what do I call you?" Spinel asked the other Spinel. " Hm.. I do like the name (Y/n)." " Yeah that's perfect for you! Let go and have some fun!" Spinel grabbed (Y/n)'s hand. " Ok"

All day the two of them played whatever Spinel wanted to play. They did this for about 11 months. During that time, Spinel gotten feelings for (Y/n). When Spinel wanted cuddles, she was always soft. When Spinel cried, she did not do a hand stand or cartwheels, no, she sat down next to her and told her that it was alright. And when they played, she would always be filled with overjoy. They were like a couple. But they weren't.

So Spinel felt like it was time to confess her feelings to (Y/n). Even though (y/n) was too innocent and clueless to know what love is. So one day Spinel walked up to (y/n), nervously. While (Y/n) playing around and practicing some tricks.

(Y/n) spot Spinel and went over to her excitedly, " Hiya Spinel! Do you wanna play some games?" Spinel chuckled at her adorableness and said. " Well, I have something to tell you..."

"Oh? What is it?" (Y/n) asked, not sure what she meant. Did she get bored of her? Is she annoying? W-will they never be best friends again? But (y/n) pushed away those dark thoughts and looked at the bright side.

" W-well y-ya see i-i " Spinel tried to say, but couldn't get it out. " Yes?" (Y/n) replied. " Spinel Is there some thing wrong? I'd like to help if you-" " I love you!" Spinel yelled out, interrupting (y/n).

" Like best friends?" (Y/n) asked. " N-no! It's- ugh! Let me show you!"

Spinel grabbed (y/n) by the collar and pulled her into a kiss. It wasn't quick or deep. No. It was full of passion, care, and love. Spinel pulled away and looked at (y/n), who was star struck.

" Spinel, What was that? Can we do it again?" (Y/n) asked hesitantly, while Spinel smirked, " sure, doll face . " She kissed you again, same like earlier.

After a month or two, Spinel told the Steven and the Crystal Gems about her girl friend. And after about two years of being together, you two decided to have a wedding and get married.

Spinel looked at you with happiness and glee that finally, she found her true love. She was at with the groom, waiting anxiously for her so to be wife or husband.
And when she saw you in that gorgeous dress of yours, she was even more nervous then ever.

Your beautiful dress was (favorite color) with little (favorite flowers) flowers.

" We are here to day for the marriage of Spinel and (y/n). Would you please say your vows." Steven said, happily.

" Well, back then, I always thought to be of Pink Diamond's Bestie, her entertainer. And when she left me, I thought that no one would ever love me again. Then, I met you. You were nice to me, kind to me, and was always happy around me. And after everything I've done in the past, you still stayed with me. And I wanna thank you for that, with me asking you to be my wife/husband. " Spinel said with hope in her eyes. A few people awed at Spinel's words. Then (y/n) spoke up.

" When I first met you, I thought we were going to be best friends and that was it. But after a few months, I started to get this weird feeling for you. I ignored it at first, but the feeling got stronger and stronger. And when we share our first kiss... It was the best moment of my life. And after all the laughter, the sad times, and the fights, I stayed with you and you stayed with me. And that's how I want it to be. You and me together, forever..."

Spinel almost cried hearing (y/n)'s words and was happy that you'll never leave her side. No matter what.

" Spinel do you take (y/n) to be lawful wedded husband/wife, and hold your love forever?" Steven asked her.

" I do." Spinel answered.

" And do you, (y/n), take Spinel to be your lawful husband/wife, and hold your love forever, as well?" Steven asked (Y/n).

(Y/n) smiled and said " of course I do."

" And now. With the power vested in me and all the people of the universe, pronounce you, husband and wife. You may kiss the husband/wife."

Spinel grabbed (y/n), dipped her, and kissed her, happily.
A sudden glow shined and revealed a new fusion. They were a mix of pink and ( favorite color) in a wedding dress tux.

This is true love.
