This story has slight boyxboy. Don't like don't read. Favorite, comment, anything.

Pictrue is Maxor

I can’t believe I agreed to meet with Crow. Sure, he is one of my best friends, but he is always causing trouble for people and anything else for that matter. He’s not a bad person, most of the time, he just has a bad personality. I have no right to complain about him and his personality, when my personality is no better than his. I’m 18 and he is 20, so are close in age too. My name is Maximilian Vain, but I go by Maxor, just so you know. My hair is black and emo style. I’m not emo, I just like the style. My eyes are an Emerald green color, that matches my mother’s.

The only reason Crow and I get along so well is because we both will play tricks on other people, and hanging out with my older brother, Kayor. The main reason we ever fight is because our favorite different animals. His, like his name, is a crow. Mine on the other hand, isn’t even an animal. It’s an insect, well not even that. Mine’s a spider. I never really knew why, but I’ve always loved spiders.

He lived in the city of Valt, I live in the city of Acar. Crow’s real house is in Tain, but he will never let me go there. His father, mother, siblings, cousins, and other family members are very aggressive. Crow is to but not to me. Crow is the next leader of his section of the family. There are four main sections of his family; the Crows, the Ravens, the Vultures, and the Blackbirds. Crow is the leader of the Crows, obviously. My brother, Kayor, is the next leader of my family, the Vain family. Carl is from a family of nobles and I am from a family of royalty. I never act like royalty though, I never want to. And I never want to be treated like it even. Regardless of your wealth and stature, you should be treated like everyone else. Crow never agreed with me on this, either.

It took me about five hours to get Crow’s house from mine. It only took so long because I decided on walking to his house. Crow’s house was two stories and painted tan and a faded yellow. I don’t see why, he hates yellowish colors. I was about to knock on the door, but before I could I was on the ground. Crow had knocked me down. He scared me to death. I’m not angry, a little annoyed but not angry. How and why would I be angry when he is hugging me. He isn’t much of a hugger, but we haven’t seen each other in over a year. I really missed him. Even though, I may not be mad at Crow, I am mad at Raven and Vulture, his two cousins. I’m only mad at them because they are laughing at me. I have to say, they have much better personalities than Crow and myself.

It didn’t take me long to get back at my feet, after he let me go. For a few moments, I glared at Raven and Vulture, before returning my attention to Crow. He was smiling down at me happily as he spoke, “Maxor, I’m so happy that you are here. It has been too long. I’m sure you are doing good, you always are. You have never let anyone take advantage or hurt you. I admire you for that, being so young and all. Is your brother doing well? I hope you don’t mind me asking. If you do, you don’t have to answer.”

Before he could continue his nonstop chattering, I answered him, “It’s fine, I don’t mind, I never did you know I have four brothers, but I know you mean Kayor. I know you’re talking about Kayor, after all you care near to nothing about the others. Kayor was fine, but not really, he is a little depressed. I haven’t seen him smile in years. That is my only wish, I want to see him smile again, like he did before. Like you did before he met Sayon.”

I could tell I was making Crow upset, so I decided to stop talking. He truly cares for Kayor, he always has. In truth, he loves Kayor, but Kayor doesn’t love him in the same way, he only sees Crow as a friend. Kayor was friends with Crow long before I ever met him. Crow snapped me to get my attention before speaking, “Maxor, do me a favor and go to the store for me. Thank you.” Well, it seems, I don’t have a choice, as always. So I just nodded and waved bye. I constantly end up doing his work every time I see him. I don’t care, the store wasn’t that far away anyways.

When I was about halfway to the store, I saw a shadow materialize behind me. I was turning around when I felt a cloth over mouth. As soon as I got lightheaded, I knew it was sedative. It didn’t take long before I fainted. I didn’t know what was going to happen. Personally, I didn’t care. I just want to know who it was. If it was someone I knew, like Crow, Raven, or Vulture, this would be a joke. I hope it was one of them. If it is someone I’d don’t know, I’m not sure what I would do.

When I woke up, my body fell heavy, very heavy. As soon as I was able to open my eyes, I noticed a brick wall. I looked around the entire room and perceived that I was in a room with brick walls, one door, and no windows, at least not that I saw. My vision was still a little hazy. I wanted to get up, but someone to shackle on my ankle, chained the to the wall behind me. I have only figured out one thing. Whoever did this, I don’t know them. None of my friends would do this to me. If they did this to me, they would really upset Kayor. They never want to upset him.
