Pari's POV:

"Come on, Pari, we have to be there really soon!"

My sister pops her head in the door and smiles. "Aw, my baby sis looks so cute!" she squeals as I frown at the white dress with white heels on.

"I don't like it."

"Baby, you look so pretty!"

"But I don't like it!" I complain, wanting to throw the thing in the trash.

"You won't be running at the dinner. Now come on, we can't be late." I groan as she takes my  hand and drags me downstairs where my jiju is adjusting his button-up shirt in the hall mirror. They grab their wallets and keys and we all pile in the car, driving five minutes to a nice, medium-big house with a large front yard.

"di! Look!" I exclaim, pointing at a resting basket ball laying near a tree. "Can I play?"

"No, no, no, we have to eat. Aren't you hungry?"

I nod my head excitedly as we walk up to the front door

and ring the doorbell.

"Hi!" Hugs are exchanged as a rather tall, pretty, brunette woman greets us with an apron tied around her waist. "Come in, come in!"

I nervously step in at first, but then sigh, loving the way the house smells of food and comfort.

"Oh my goodness, she's so pretty!" My eyes widen and I shuffle back as the tall woman bends down and smiles warmly at me. "It's nice to meet you, Pari. I have a daughter too and she's about your age."
" Oh, that's great. " I said excitingly. I don't remember much about myself as i lost all my memory in a car crash. So, I make friends with everyone i met. At first, i tried really hard to remember but no luck. It only resulted in severe head ache. Living in Melbourne, gives me a lot of opportunities. I learnt cooking by attending culinary classes.
I am lucky that di is still here with me . She loves me so much. When i was in hospital, she never leave my side and told me all about our childhood. Though i couldn't feel any connection, i believe in her. As days rolled by , we got pretty close.
We had our dinner . They started to talk about business and i zoned out. Sometimes i wonder how my past life was.
Is it happy or sad? Did i have a boyfriend? I mean i am 26 years old. If i have someone in my life , why didn't he come looking for me?
I work in my Jiju's company as a managing director. He has way to many companies. So, when Di told me i did Masters in business administration , i grabbed the chance and got the job immediately.

With that last note to my secretary, I walk off the office and throw my bag into the back before getting into the car and driving away. It's only a ten minute drive home and once there, I unlock the pedestrian door.

"Hey cracky!" I say, not being able to help the high-pitched voice. "Aw, you're so cute!" I laugh as i pick Cracky from the sofa i left it in the morning. It's my teddy bear. I don't know why i named it cracky. It's the first thing that come to my mind .I hugged it and took it along with me, not wanting to leave him.

I'm still smiling as I walk in and dump my bag on the floor, taking my sandals off in the bedroom.

"Oh, you're home!"

I jump in surprise at my di's voice. She generally doesn't get home until seven o'clock, as well as my Jiju. "Di? What are you doing home?" My Jiju walks out from the kitchen and I frown. "You're home too?"

"Yeah, we got off a little early to spend some time with you."

"Why?" I say this curiously because I know their work is really strict and they have a set schedule.
