Almeta POV
We had done it. The thieves guild has foothold in all of the major cities in Skyrim once again. Windhelm was a little tricky, but Bryn went with me and we kept our masks on at all times and never stayed long. I was sitting in the flagon when I see Brynjolf walk up beside me. Since the guild is a major power once again, Bryn brought up the guildmaster position again and I accepted. With the Grigard family gone, I know I can stay and not endanger my friends. It does help that the other members dropped some 'subtle' hints that they want me to take the job. Bryn had been setting up the ceremony, and I guess it is ready. "Well love, it is time to make this official. It is time to become the guild master." "I really hope this isn't some long and sappy ceremony you have planned Bryn." I smile at him as I tease him a little. "Don't worry lass. This will be short and sweet. Lets go, the others are waiting in the center of the cistern." When we walk into the cistern I see the whole guild has gathered in the room, with the main leaders gathering in the center platform. Even Maven had come and was standing off to the side. As soon as we get to the center platform, Bryn begins talking, "Look, I have never been good at these things, so I'm just going to keep it short. Being guild master means more than just getting a cut of all the loot. It means being a leader and keeping this rabble in order. With that in mind, I propose that the position of guild master be yours, Almeta." Bryn asks for consent from the other leaders and everyone agrees quickly. Bryn turns back to face me and continues, "Everyone is in agreement, so all I can do now is name you guild master and wish you good fortune and a long life." He turns to face the rest of the guild, "Now the rest of you, back to work." With that said, everyone disperses. Bryn walks over to me and says, "Well, I did tell you it would be short and sweet, guild master" He smirks at me again as I respond, "That you did and you were correct." "Well, Tonillia should have your new guild master armor and here. It is an amulet of articulation. It's given to all the guildmasters. Now, Lass, what would you say to going on another job together." I match his smirk and say, "I think that sounds lovely. Let's go grab some jobs and head out." As we walk to Delvin, I start thinking about how I got here. The road to this moment may not have been easy, but I wouldn't trade this for anything. I'm finally free of the Grigards, I found a real family and made so many friends, and best of all, I fell in love with Bryn. And I know that me and Bryn will always be ready. Ready for the next adventure.
