"Okay- I think the stuff will be ready in 3-4 hours." I said and grabbed my scissors. "So we can go get lunch together?" He asked and leaned against the wall. I couldn't help but laugh. "And who's going to tailor your clothes? Or do you think they trim themselves?"
Joaquin decided to stay with me to keep me company while eating his lunch. "So were you born here in Italy?" he asked and took a bite of his apple. "Yes, here in Rome actually but I went to college in England for a few years and when I finished I came back here". He smiled and continued eating his food. "So you said you would teach me some phrases?" he asked as I put his first clothing on the dress hanger. "Sure you can ask me anything- anytime" I turned around again and saw him going through my design- and sketchbook. "Wow that's really cool. You're very talented y/n" he said and turned to the next page. "You should think about doing your own clothing line" I laughed at his silly comment. "Don't laugh. I mean it. These are great" I sat down next to him and smiled. "Thank you". "They are amazing, you're very good at that." I giggled at his amazed face expression. "Well it would be bad if I wouldn't be good at that. I mean it's my job isn't it?" He grinned as he was still going through my book. "Wow look at that!" I couldn't stop chuckling and blushing.
We talked for hours and it was getting pretty dark outside. We sat on the couch and enjoyed each other's presence while drinking wine and listening to the radio. Joaquin set the volume down and leaned back against the couch. "Well tomorrow I'll be on set the whole day, but after I could meet you or you could watch me" he said as he was picking up his glass of wine. Our eyes were locked for minutes and it didn't even feel uncomfortable. His eyes were stunning. This man was stunning. "Yeah sure we could hang out uhm- maybe at 8?" I mentioned. "Sure... tomorrow at 8" he smiled. Then the silence came again. But as I said, it wasn't awkward or anything.
