Chapter 06: The Truth...

Last time on 'Aqua The Hedgehog'...

"You know Ms. Aqua, Ms. Bianca?" Cream asked Bianca, but when Cream said my name her eyes widened in shock. Some reason those dreams I kept having of some girl with blue hair and same style as mine but in human form, Bianca might know who I am...

Aqua's POV

We were at Bianca's house. Her mom made some cookies and snacks for us before she left for work. It was an awkward silence until Cream spoke up first. "Do you know Ms. Aqua, Ms. Bianca?"

We all watched Bianca waiting for her to answer. She was looking down at her lap. It was like she was nervous and scared.

"W-well... I know an Aqua, but she's a human, like me, not a Hedgehog like this Aqua." she gestured to me.

"Then do you know where this human Aqua is, Sug?" Garnet said trying to get some answers for me and everyone else, but what Bianca said next shocked me.

"Well, it happened eight months ago... Me and Aqua went to go over to her little brother's friend's house to get back her bracelet the little brat stole, which I wanted to scold him, but Aqua, being the nice big sister figure, talked to his mother who was very shocked and upset with her son so she ended up scolding him harshly who found out it was Aqua was complaining in the first place after her little brother told her, anyways. We were walking back to her house after she got her bracelet back I told Aqua a big, super huge secret I had..."

I frowned; so far what she said was from my dreams I'd been having. I focused back on listening to Bianca when she talked again.

"I got myself and Aqua a train ticket to go to Station Square that day... We planned it, ya know? Getting away from everything and have fun there, it'll be a blast! Especially with excitement there too about that stupid Egghead guy, but the blue hedgehog stops him. That's why we wanted to go to meet that blue hedgehog in person... But after that accident, I couldn't bear to go without her."

I looked at her while she cried. Garnet was next to her so she comforted her.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Bianca... May we know what happened to her?" Cream asked gently.

Bianca wasn't happy though, "Why? So I can keep having nightmares?! I keep reliving that horrible day over and over again! Aqua was my best friend in the whole world! And you want me to tell you and relive it again!" She stood up glaring with tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Calm down, sug. Cream didn't mean to say it that way. We just need to know if this Aqua-", gestured her hand to me. "-is the same as yours..."

Bianca sighed, giving up, and plopped back down on the couch. "Sorry... Aqua was killed by some drunken idiot that decided to drive while drinking. He was taken to prison while my best friend died in my arms. I begged her to stay with me... But she apologized with a smile on her face and her body turned icy cold..."

"...I'm so sorry for your loss, Ms. Bianca. Does what she said made you remember anything, Ms. Aqua?"

I looked at Cream, then at Garnet, and last Bianca, I slowly nodded. "Yes... I've been having dreams of some human with blue hair in my hairstyle dying in a girl's arms begging her not to leave her. Human Aqua had a little brother named Shino and a mom, but I never can remember who her name was, but I did see Bianca and Aqua walking smiling and such so when you said your name earlier? I was hoping you were the Bianca from those dreams I've been having since I woke up."

I confessed to them. Everyone was silent until I fixed my hair as my bracelet jingled by my movement getting Bianca's attention. She gasped covering her mouth.

"What is it, Ms. Bianca?" Cream asked worriedly.

I was confused and curious when Bianca stood up and walked over to me. She went down to her knees in front of me teary-eyed and hugged me. I blinked a couple of times patting her back gently. "I-it's you... I-it's really you! You've come back."

I pulled back my arms as Bianca smiled at me while wiping her tears.

"What do you mean, sugar? Is the human Aqua and this Aqua the same?" Garnet asked.

Bianca nodded with a smile and grabbed my wrist with my bracelet to hold it up. "This was Aqua's cherished item... Her father gave it to her the day before he died before her birthday. He was coming home from his work trip and wanted to surprise Aqua so he called my mom and she told me about it, but then we got a cop at our door telling Aqua and her family he died."

"That's horrible... B-but what happened to me? Why couldn't I remember anything when I woke up at the beach? And why did I turn into a hedgehog?" I asked, even though I knew she didn't have the answer, but you never know.

Bianca shrugged, "Sorry... I don't know myself, but I'm happy you're back, even though you're a hedgehog. Now I can torture you how adorable you are~!"

I sweatdropped. I didn't know if I should be scared or happy about what she said, but I was happy. I was wanted now; I just had to finish my mission. "Bianca... Do you know anywhere in this town if there is a shrine?"

She frowned and tilted her head in thought. "...I do not know- wait! I was looking on YouTube the other night before Eggbutt attacked me. Here, let me show you."

We followed Bianca upstairs to her room. She typed until she ushered us over, showing some group of kids wandering around at night and they stumbled to some cave with a weird eerie white light shine making the group of kids run off scared saying it was a monster or an evil ghost.

Bianca stopped the video and turned around to face us. "Is that what you're looking for?"

I nodded. "I think so, but it wouldn't hurt to go there and check it out before Eggman finds out what we're doing... Especially when he can track the energy I use from the Crystal Orbs. So we must be careful." I said while looking at Garnet who nodded then looked at Cream and Cheese smiling and nodding at me. "Bianca, you make sure no one goes anywhere near that cave."

"Got it. Be careful, you three! Oh, and take this, Aqua, just in case." Bianca took something out from her desk and handed it to me. It was a cell phone. "I'll call if something is going wrong or if you need to call me back about something, just call."

I nodded and we went to where the cave was at. Bianca told us it was somewhere just outside of the town hidden by vines so when we found it, it had gotten dark out.

When we entered we were "in awe how beautiful it was on the inside". We went on ahead for like hours. It felt like walking through an endless cave until we saw it... Right at the end, in a big area was up ahead were two shrines; one on the right was black and the one on the left was pure white.

I turned around facing Cream, Cheese, and Garnet. "I need to do this last test alone... Cheese-" I looked at Cheese. "-if Eggman comes and tries to grab the Crystal Orbs after I complete the test, fly as fast as you can to get it and keep them safe from Eggman and his Eggbots clutches."

"Chao, Chao!" he saluted. It was just so adorable~

I sighed and turned back around and stepped forward until I got to the middle of the area.

I took a deep breath and let it out, waiting for my test for the dark and light Crystal Orbs. A bright light shone so brightly making us all cover our eyes. When the bright light died down, I gasped by seeing-
