"1... here I cooome!" said daisy as she turned around and started running in search of her play mates.
"Now where would they go?" wondered Daisy as she strolled down the neighborhood...
That's right! The neighborhood! They were playing hide and seek all over the village! Not just around the play ground or the school, but all over the village. However the village wasn't crazy big but it certainly wasn't small either. James, Daisy, Robert, and Steve were notorious for their disasters around the village. One time Daisy got curious and wandered off so far that she reached the village gates, and the guards got mad at her, but before they could catch her she squirreled up a tree, and from branch to branch she managed hide and escape from the guards.
"Are you here!" squeaked Daisy as she pulled herself up the school's roof.
"Not on the school's roof.. hmmm..." muttered Daisy as she climbed down and started strolling down the village's core.
"Have you seen James Mr.Candyman?" asked Daisy as she entered the candy shop.
"Hahahah! No I haven't." replied the shop keeper, " but here take this candy bag and share it with him if you see him." he continued.
"Thank you Mr.Candyman," said Daisy as she smiled.
"Why would I be looking for a bunch of boys when I could be enjoying this candy for myself?" thought Daisy with a devilishly looking grin on her face.
She Knew that the scariest place in the village was Chief Leo's house, so she decided to hide behind the house and enjoy her candy as she knew the others wouldn't dare cause a ruckus around there.
"Yum yum yu..." the other kids jumped on Daisy interrupting her.
"Ahhhhhhh! Get off of meee!" yelled Daisy as she struggled to push James off of her.
"Share the candy," screamed Robert as he reached for the bag.
"No! It's all mine!" fought Daisy back.
"No!" said Steve, "Mr.Candyman said share it with us!"
"How would you hear that?" asked Daisy.
"Because we were following you Ms.Brains," said Steve.
"That's cheating!" screamed Daisy, "you were supposed to count to ten and then freeze in your place and not move an inch," said Daisy as she closed the candy bag tighter.
"We went up the school's roof and monitored you from there, but when we saw you coming to the school we quickly climbed down and hid in the bushes and continued to follow you quietly," confessed James, "now GIVE US SOME CANDYYYY!" yelled James.
"Ummm... James.." said Robert in a reluctant voice," you realize we are at big L's house, right?" he continued.
That's right they gave each big figure in their village a nickname, and chief Leo's was big L.
James passed out for a couple of seconds from the fear then woke up then passed out then woke up again and attempted to drag himself away from the house quietly only to find his limbs frozen solid and not move. He turned his head and found Daisy with a blank face, a body without a soul, the candy bag on the ground and its insides scattered all over. He turned his head the other way and saw Steve crouching behind Robert tip-toeing an inch a minute away from chief Leo's house as to be as quiet as possible.
"Forget it! We are as good as caught," said Daisy hopelessly as she waved at the chief's house's window only to find the window open and a replying wave come at her.
"Now kids! What's it gonna be? A hundred push ups? A ten kilometer run? A hundred sit-ups? I'm feeling nice today so I'll let you decide," said the chief with a sadistic grin on his face.
"Sit-ups" said Daisy as she headed inside his house obediently.
"If the rest of you don't enter now you'll be doing the double," said the chief only to find the boys pushing each other to enter first.
"Why! Why do you torture us like that," spat James in awe, "what pleasure do you get from this?" he questioned.
"You'll understand when you grow up kid. Now lie down and get started! I want y'all out of my house before I finish studying this new map I got," said the chief as he sat down on his desk only to find the kids on both sides gazing and marveling the map.
Maps were a big deal. They were so huge of a deal that anyone that draws one gets honored at the village, and there were big rewards for them, too.
"Get back to your positions kids and get started" lashed out the chief as he threw his arm across the desk.
"Yikes.." screamed the kids as they got into position and started.

"3... this is gonna take forever..." said James.
"Yeah... well maybe you should not have caused a ruckus just outside my house. I'm a busy man and your ruckus distracts me" said the chief as he continued to study the map.
In order to grow a healthy generation the chief imposed these harsh punishments, and he threw punishments around like they were nothing. Anything that angers or displeases or even simply just slightly bugs him harsh punishments like these were dealt, and even if the kids tried to escape the chief's memory was crazy good. He knew all the kids in the village as if they were his own kids. He would hunt them down and punish them extra for running away, so after a while the kids just knew that accepting their fate and surrendering themselves would yield to less harsh punishments.
