When Robert and Daisy reached them large trees they couldn't help but marvel at them.
"How could such humongous things exist," said Daisy.
"We are like ants compared to these trees," said Robert.
"I think I know what ants feel like when they look at us, and hey look there is no fog down there," said Robert.
"Do we climb up these trees and continue hopping or do we climb down and continue walking," said Daisy.
"Climbing such huge structures increases risks of fal-" Robert hesitated to continue as to not awaken sad feelings within Daisy.
"Say it Robert! Climbing such huge structures increases risks of falling, so we should walk is your opinion, right," said Daisy.
"Right, and besides hopping takes more energy than walking and in a situation in which we are not sure of what to expect we should save as much energy as possible," said Robert.
"Climbing down it is," said Daisy.
The pair started climbing down and when they reached the bottom Daisy couldn't help but look back with a sad expression.
"Don't...," said Robert placing his hand on Daisy's shoulder.
"I know," said Daisy.
"If they survived we'll see them at the cave where the book is hidden. They have their own copies of the map. Man, that old man thought of everything even of the possibility that we could get separated," said Robert.
"He isn't the chief for nothing," said Daisy.
"Let's go," said Robert trying to energize the atmosphere.
They walked among the giant trees pondering. Not being able to resist looking left and right at this wondrous discovery they have made.
"If only James and Steve were here with us....," said Daisy.
Robert gulped a mini gulp while thinking, "if her mind is busy thinking about the past her reaction time will slow dramatically. She'll put herself and me in danger like this! I can't have that. I need to do something."
"LOOK OUT!" screamed Robert pointing behind her trying to test her reaction time.
In a mere instant three arrows from Daisy's bow rushed by Robert barely missing him.
"YOU WATCH OUT IDIOT!" yelled Daisy while drawing another arrow.
Daisy's arrows were clearly targeting something. Robert pulled out his ax in no time and faced whatever Daisy was shooting at. A huge ant, taller than Robert, collapsed in front of him with blood oozing out of its forehead thanks to Daisy's arrows piercing it.
"The hell-" said Robert backing away from it and falling to the ground.
"We are not in our normal world anymore. We need to always be on guard," said Daisy.
Fear gripped Robert's heart tightly. Not even in his wildest imaginations would such a creature exist. His heartbeat echoed throughout his entire body with a thunderous thud.
"Snap out of it," said Daisy shocking Robert out of his state. It was her time to return Robert to his senses just as he did with her.
"I suggest we go into sneak mode," said Robert while getting up and patting dirt off of him.
"I'm with you on that," said Daisy.
Daisy and Robert tore some grass and tied it to their heads then ducked into the tall grass that was covering them halfway only leaving their eyes out. Now they were fully fused with the forest.
