Cast List

Midoryia's P.O.V.*

A week has passed since I auditioned. I'm so nervous. The director said the cast list should be up today. I wonder who I got cast as? If I got cast at all...

"Deku, are you okay? Your shaking," Uraraka and Iida are looking at me concerned. I nod my head and stutter out.

"U-um, yeah I'm just n-nervous...t-that's all..." I look down and pick at my food. 

"Deku...you know, you most likely got a good part...I mean, you hit the high note...not even the theater kids could do that..." She reassures me. I nod again and go back to picking at my food.

"Midoryia, I think you should-"

"THE CAST LIST IS UP- REPEAT! THE CAST LIST IS UP" We hear as someone runs into the cafeteria. It's silent for a moment, then chaotic. I cover my ears due to the loud and frantic noise. Uraraka and Iida stand up and grab me on the way to the door. I'm silently freaking out as everyone else is surrounding the tiny piece of paper.

 Around me, I hear cheers, screams of anger, and laughter. Lots of laughter. 

Uraraka walks up to the cast list and runs her finger down the paper looking for our names. She pauses for a moment before turning around with a pale white face. She looks at Iida and asks him to check the list. He calmly walks up to the list and does the exact same thing Uraraka did. I'm so confused. They look at me and push me to the cast list. 

I look at the list, then back at them. I take a breath and look for my name...

I turn around with tears in my eyes and run back to my friends. 

"We did it!" We all yell! Yay!

I did it. 

We continue to celebrate when I'm tapped on the shoulder. I turn around and I look up to see Shoto Todoroki. One of the most mysterious and handsome boys in school. 

"Are you Izuku Midoryia?" 

"U-um yeah...y-your Shoto T-todoroki right?" He nods at me and then he walks away. 

I stare at him for a few more seconds then turn back around to my friends only to see that they were gone. I look around for them. I am frantic to find them, I don't like being alone. I start rushing to find them. I turned the corner and I am knocked onto the ground. I wince, then apologize. 

"I-I'm so sorry! I-I wasn't l-looking where I-I was u-um going, I-I'm so sorry," I hear a little 'tch' and look up to see my crush Katsuki Bakugo...o-oh. 

"Watch where you're fucking going next time, okay?"  I nod and get up and run away. I run back to the classroom where I find my only friends laughing at memes.

Bakugo's P.O.V.*

Its been one week since I had to try out for the fucking musical. Shitty hair and Dunce face have been talking about it all week....it's so fucking annoying! 

Me and my 'friends' were sitting at our table listening to Denki and Sero fight over the best meme. I wasn't listening though...I was staring at that green-haired kid. He obviously had anxiety or some shit...I mean he was shaking and stuttering and being awkward. 

"THE CAST LIST IS UP- REPEAT! THE CAST LIST IS UP" I hear myself 'tch'. and look at the idiots to see that there gone....

....

What the fuck. 

How the fuck did they....

Whatever.

After everything in the lunchroom calmed down, I walk down the hall waiting for the hallway to be cleared. I turn the corner and see that green kid on the ground looking frantic he looks up at me. 

"I-I'm so sorry! I-I wasn't l-looking where I-I was u-um going, I-I'm so sorry," 

I do my signature 'tch' and say "Watch where you're fucking going next time, okay?" He nods, gets up, and runs away. I watch him run into class 1A....what? He's in my class? Since when? Whatever. 

I walk up to the stupid paper and find my name............

I-

look to the side of the cast list and see the idiots laughing there asses off. My eye twitches and I stare at them with the most pissed of look I can muster. Shitty hair looks at me immediately shuts up. 

"What's wrong Kirishi....ma?" Dunce face looks and my direction which gets the rest of the idiots attention. 

"Uh....hi bakubro....we uh....we saw the cast list and....we...pfft...we couldn't help ourselves..." Shitty Hair chuckles out. 

I glare at him and walk away heading over to my classroom. 

Fucking Idiots making a fool out of me.... 

We have our first rehearsal tomorrow. Great. Now I have to tell the old hag to eat without me.

Fucking hell.

Hey! Sorry, I haven't updated in a while I've been caught up in school and now that there is no school just homework, I should be able to update way more. Anyway, I hope you're having a good week and a great quarantine.
