The Haunted

Chapter 1 - Vacation

The vacation consisting of the two families of Phillip Decker and Kaytlyn Greer was at the end and all that was left was the trip home. Phillip Decker is a 16 year old male with long, messy, dark brown hair. He has brown eyes and is 6 feet tall. Kaytlyn Greer is a 15 year old female with dirty blonde hair, usually in a low pony tail hanging over her shoulder. She has hazel eyes that sometimes turn to a shade of grey. She is 5 foot 6. The two teenagers have been dating for just about a year now and can read each other like a book. They met each other at their school in St. Louis at the Valentines dance. They are both shy so no one asked each other out to the dance for awhile until Kaytlyn got help from a friend to gain the guts to ask Phillip to the dance where they started dating. They share a lot of traits. You can really tell that they are soul mates. They never argue really because they agree on almost everything. Lucky for them that they don't argue because they need to be able to bare each other for what's to come.
Phillips father was driving the rental car they picked up for the trip to Europe. Their car was waiting at the airport that their flight would be landing. The car was running dangerously low as the meter was inching it's way down towards the E on the gas meter. They came to a stop at a gas station to fill up before they continued down the road. "Alright, I'm going to use the restrooms while we are here. If anyone else has to go, feel free to go now." Phillips dad said. Everyone went except for Phillip and Kaytlyn. They went before leaving the hotel. Everyone walked through the doors to the gas station and left Phillip and Kaytlyn in the car. In the next instance, as they went out of sight, a burly man dressed from head to toe in black ran up to the driver side of the car and hoped in, looking for the keys in the ignition. Phillips dad had the keys with him but didn't lock the car. Phillip and Kaytlyn stayed still and silent. Trying to talk or move was impossible to do at this point anyways. The man turned around and saw them. They were pail as ghosts. The mysterious man punched them both across the head and knocked them both out. He took their unconscious bodies and ran off. The parents of the teenagers never knew they had been missing.
