Still no track of time. We couldn't see the sun or the moon. All there was was a grey sky and fog everywhere. I could tell Kaytlyn was scared because she was squeezing my arm and was shaking like a scared puppy. We continued on walking through the woods. The suspicion about the disappearing bear was still there. As we walked, we saw the animals in the trees. Birds and squirrels just vanishing. We looked ahead, this time a wolf in the way. Not as friendly as the bear I guess because he ran towards us. He was extremely fast. Within an instant he was way to close for comfort. We jumped to the side, dodging the razor sharp claws that extended, seemingly seeking our flesh. The wolf seemed to get angry at his failed attempt at killing us and struck at us again. He missed again, but this time closer to our skin. His eyes seemed to literally catch on fire. The space around his eyes lit up like it was giving off light. Were his eyes on fire? This was a silly idea. It couldn't be true. But he lashed out at us for a third time. We were out of breathe due to the mixture of our fright and movements. I knew this time we'd be to slow to dodge the attack so I made the last second decision of pushing Kaytlyn out of the way and trying my luck at dodging the attack.
