Chapter 2

Jessica's Pov
It was early the next morning and I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring Bo$$ By Fifth Harmony, let me just say they're my idols and I love them to death. I got out of bed and walked into my bathroom hopping in the shower, wincing as the water hit the skin of the back because of all my reopened scars. Eventually I hopped out went over to my small closet and grabbed a sweater some jeans and my new boots, if you're wondering how I have all this stuff, lets just say when my mom.. did what she did she left me money. That's all I'm willing to share. {outfit above}
I changed and grabbed my headphones and blasted I know places by taylor swift, since I had no way of getting anywhere I was used to walking so it wasn't big deal and luckily it hasn't been too cold out even though I can feel my teeth starting to chatter, Incase you couldn't tell it's the beginning of December here and brrrrr is it cold!
After about a half hour I arrive wen the lady at the front desk asks for my name, one I tell her she leads me to a recording studio where Simon is waiting inside. I thank her and open the door, "Ello Jessica or may I call you Jess?" I nods and he continues "Now look I know this may be confusing and what not but I think you have a shot here to make it big in the industry, and I'm willing to sign you, but will you record a cover with me first to make sure this is what you really want?" I nod and he asks me what I want to sing. I decide on "Part of me" {video above} by Katy perry and I hop in the booth. He signals for the music to start and before I know it I get lost in the song and the words are flowing out of my mouth. By the time I'm done Simon had the paper in his hands waiting for me to sign it, which I gladly did and he told me I could go home for the day and tomorrow we can work out the details for my new EP! I was stoked. I rode home bracing myself for another sleepless night with the devil living downstairs, hoping he can give me a nights rest.

Lauren's Pov

We pulled into the parking lot of the studio, said hello to Mrs.Jay the front desk lady and head to the back where Simon was supposed to meet us, he looked like he was finishing up and a young girl left the room and went home I'm guessing. I wonder who she was?
Camila snapped me out of my thoughts while we went into the studio.

"Girls I have a proposition for you all?" said Simon and that got us all curious.
"I have a new client who just happens to be a singing prodigy but she doesn't even know it, she feels like a random ordinary girl but I can tell she's not. Theres a lot more to what she's letting on and as far as I can tell it doesn't seem very good, and I'm not quite sure what to do?" He states.

Boom right then an idea came to me, "Why don't we become her honorary industry sisters, meaning we can show her the ropes, become friends with her so she has people she can trust and I know how it feels as well as all of you guys when the hate comes and and we can be there for her like Demi was for us? What do you guys think?" I said proudly because I came up with that myself.

They all agreed and Simon said to be here tomorrow about an hour earlier then normal to meet her, little did she know what was in store for her.
