Chapter 3

'Jessica's Pov'

I wake up and instantly feel pain shoot up my back and run through my whole body, crap I think to myself because I have to be at the studio in an hour. I slowly get up and run a warm shower wincing as I step in, the water hitting the open cuts the devil left last night. I got out and out on a sweater as well as my boots again because it's cold out, I don't know I have a thing for sweaters. I put my hair into a braid and sneak downstairs luckily the devils out so I plug my headphones into my ears blasting demons by imagine dragons while walking to the studio.

It takes about a half hour to get there and I'm a complete mess, I redo my hair and walk inside saying hi to the front desk lady again and her telling me to meet Simon in the same room. I head back and walk in to see him sitting there, "Ello Jessica are you ready to record?" I nod my head when he stops me "Wait one second, we have this thing at Synco records that we are starting kind of like a older sibling in the industry thing. I have some people here that volunteered to help show you around the business and what not because it can be very lonely especially someone your age and you will need people you can lean on. They should be here later to meet you, now today you'll be singing an original am I correct?" I tell him yes but inside I'm freaking out, what if my "Mentors" don't like me everything can go wrong!

I hop into the booth and the music plays, Simon read all my songs and said this one was the most personal so it would be sentimental and something fans can relate too. I started to sing getting lost in the music and not even realizing my five idols walking into the room. {Song above}

'Camila's Pov'

We head to the studio all in pure excitement to be mentors to a younger girl, we want to try to make it as easy for her as possible and hopefully make a new best friend! Ahh were here, we hop out of the car and head into the studio. Once we get inside we get directed to where to go when we hear music starting, she must be recording a song and Simon told us she write so it must be an original because I've never heard it before. We walk in as she starts singing the first words, shes too into it so she doesn't notice were there.

We sit on the couches mesmerized by her voice and feeling her emotions through her song, we all look at at each other and knew instantly that this was the right thing to do. She seemed so broken and sad but hopefully we can change that, she stops singing and leaves the booth and by then she looks up and sees us. Her jaw drops and she looks like she's going to faint.

I walk up to her and give her a hug and we all tell her how amazing she is, it doesn't look like she believes is but she will. We introduce ourselves but she tells us she already knows who we are.
"Well we are your mentors/best friends/industry sibling!!" I squeal in excitement.

She looks at us in pure shock, "Oh my god are you serious, I love you guys so so so much and you're so amazing!" We all awe and thank her, when we realize Simons in the room too.

"Ladies I decided to give you the rest of the week off to get to know each other and show Miss Jessica the ropes alright?" and we all nod. He leaves and I speak up, "So Jessica, how would you like to come to lunch with us so we can get to know each other?" I ask.

'Jessica's Pov'

Oh no, she asked me to lunch with them. I bet you're wondering why I wouldn't be thrilled, I mean I am but since the devil lives at home it's impossible to go downstairs without getting a glass bottle thrown at my back so I don't really eat, It's not that I necessarily don't want to, I mean I don't because I'm fat and ugly but I just cant. I gulped nervously and say yes, so we head to their van.

We all are about to get in when Lauren says "There aren't enough seats so you'll have to sit on one of our laps alright?" and I nod but knowing I'll probably crush them. We all hop in and Lauren grabs me and puts me on her lap, she instantly takes in a quick breath probably because I'm so heavy so I just decide to look out the window.

'Lauren's Pov'

When she sat on my lap I couldn't believe this, she weighed nothing.. nothing like at all! I mouthed to Dinah that we need to talk later and she nodded. We arrived at the Italian place and all hopped out, we sat down at the table with Jess to my right and Ally on her other side with the other girls across us.

'Jessica's Pov'

We all sat down when Ally spoke up, "Jessica we want to get to know you better so why don't you tell us about yourself!" she said happily. Oh lorde here come the lies...
