In the surface of Gaea, the Wicked Queen of Venel died because of illness (being ripped apart and eaten by starving dogs after getting humiliated) and in Phantasma, the Empress of the Damned welcomed her replacement.

'How ironic. My second name means eternal life, yet I died on the prime of my life.'

"Welcome to Phantasma, Queen Raskreia. You shall be my successor."

In Gaea, legends state that once one had died, one's soul are released from their mortal skin and their memories and feelings are left behind. However, those who has an intense lingering resentment and/or malice detected can only be a sinner and fall to the gates of Phantasma.

What exactly is Phantasma?

Simple.

Phantasma is equivalent to the neighboring dimension; Earth's Hell, the place where sinners end up.

However, those who do not belong here does not know what kind of place this truly is.

In here, only one reigning dynasty holds dominion of all of Phantasma, and that's this place; The Empire of Damnation. Yes, the naming sense is shit but let's not talk about trivial details.

Unlike the surface's bullshit patriarchy, here is the opposite. Only us women can have power; it short, this dynasty is a matriarchal community.

How, you ask?

All residents of Phantasma are sinners, however, many of them had suffered grievance and was wronged in their past lives— and that led to the resentment tightly clinging into their soul.

Women like us are more prone to getting miserable demises, and mostly died with deep-seethed resentment towards another person. That's how we're in charge here.

Our resentment can be used as power, and the more resentment one has, the more powerful they are. Only women are innately able to wield such power, while men can only be power-banks for us women.

Why?

Saa, who cares? We don't know why alright? Who even has time to care for that.
