"I am the one tasked by Her Majesty to deliver your highness' schedule. We are very sorry for this event, Crown Princess. The imperial guards were not wary enough." The maid deeply bowed and gave a scroll with her two hands.
Raskreia received the scroll and dismissed the maid, before opening it. In the scroll, the time and subject are written in a list. It includes politics, economy, business, etiquette, military tactics, martial arts, weaponry handling, miscellaneous knowledge and others. Most of those are only for men on her former life and the most unfamiliar is the 'miscellaneous knowledge' subject.
Why does she need that anyways? She then recalled the strange word from the letter describing men as 'power banks', so perhaps they have advance artifacts that has yet to be created in her former life. This is a different world, after all, so maybe she needs to get familiar with those in the miscellaneous knowledge to blend in.
Speaking of blending in, this world have magic in the form of resentment. 'Why is there no subject teaching how to use that?' She quietly pondered.
All of a sudden, words wrote itself on the still open scroll.
'Magic Mastery for Dumbasses and New Arrivals'
Imperial Mage Renaisse Sylvestre 7am-5pm Sat & SunPS: Sorry, forgot to include it <( ̄︶ ̄)>
-JShion♪Well... Magic appears to be quite a convenience. It wouldn't be a loss to have such ability.

"Oi Shion! Explain clearly, why the hell would I be your successor's magic teacher!?" An eccentric looking girl (?) with several accessories and face markings hissed in annoyance, sitting on Jinri's throne like she owns it.
This is the Imperial Mage, Renaisse Sylvestre. The ministers and the empress has long been used to her overbearing and arrogant nature. She is also the former magic teacher of Jinri and the former empress, Xilin. No one knows how old she is, and those courageous poor souls who once asked regretted it throughly.
(Rumors say that she existed since the founding of the empire, but it was quickly denied by Renaisse who claimed that she's still young. Who knows?)
Jinri hummed as if she didn't hear the disrespectful exclamation of her former teacher. She ordered a swivel chair to be brought in and sat on it.
"Because that's tradition, Sylvestre. The late Empress Lin decreed that only the imperial mage shall be every successor's magic teacher. Or, you prefer to guard the borders?"
Said imperial mage's face blackened and her eyes was filled with irritation and disgust. "No way. Those corrupt bitches are too disgusting, and that stupid Fiore gal can handle that."
"Didn't you know?" Jinri grinned in schadenfreude, "General Millicent Fiore shall return soon, because she has to teach my little successor! Hah, hah!"
Even the common citizens knew of the unresolved conflict (sexual tension) between the two high ranking officials, what more the highest authority?
Jinri knows that her former teacher fancies the general but she was rejected, hence her irritation towards said person. But really, it was just that two of the same kind will repel each other, and they were both doms. Haha, poor them.
Let's focus on another topic thought; the corruption Renaisse mentioned.
Corruption are those who had not retained their intelligence and ego from their past life and those who succumbed to a corrupt's taint. They are creatures who only exist to slaughter and create destruction. As Jinri once written to Raskreia, the more resentment, the more powerful a phantasmian is. However, that also is the same to the corruption. The stronger they are before they lose their intellect, the more destruction they can bring.
All corrupt souls are banished from the empire and those who attempt to return would be eradicated.
The former rulers went to eternal slumber after they sufficiently watched their successor rule so that they wouldn't be corrupted after their souls deteriorate, so no monarch had fortunately been corrupted before.
Power... The greater it is, the more responsibility needed to control it.

"Big brother! When will you come back? Rei will miss big brother!" An adorable little girl with beautiful lilac eyes tugged at a handsome teenaged boy's shirt.
They don't look alike to each other at all. The girl has burgundy hair while the boys has ebony locks. Clearly, they have no blood ties to each other.
"Lil' Kreia," the teen chuckled in mirth, "I'll return soon, so be a good girl and take care of yourself, mm'kay?" He said and patted her head.
"Mhm!" 'Kreia' enthusiastically nodded, happy because of the headpats she received.
However, when he started walking away, she saw his back slowly grow up until his white shirt was tinted red with blood. She was horrified, and tried to catch up with him. But no matter how fast her little feet moved, he is getting farther and farther away. He was fading. Leaving her alone.
She didn't want him to leave! No!
"Please don't leave me... ________"
She woke up, unable to recall her dream. But that was not anything unusual, since even when she was alive she could never remember any of her dreams.
'What is the damn time anyways? How long did I sleep? And how the fuck do I even keep track of the time, ah!' Raskreia's inner sailor complained, clearly sleep deprived. She woke up because her chest tightened uncontrollably, and she didn't know why- maybe she had a nightmare? Who knows.
On the first place, souls don't really need to sleep or shit like humans. Most of them merely sleep to recuperate their emotional and mental energy.
Eating though, she still hadn't asked why souls need to eat. She noted to ask that after she wakes up again later.
