Title(s):
Sad Serenade
Take Me Under
Just Under The Pond
DrownConcept:
When a boy dies, heaven doesn't greet him, nor does hell--he wouldn't even call it purgatory. It's a dark forest shrouded in fog with little ponds all over the forest floor.
The water doesn't show his reflection, though. When he looks into it, he sees someone or something else, with each pond showing something unique. One time, he finds a pond reflecting his family.
He goes through the pond and finds that his family can't see him. He's like a ghost, merely watching. It didn't take him long after that to realize these ponds were showing the world continuing after he dies.
Time quickly pasts by and he quickly grows bored. Completely bored, and knowing no one will ever see him, he goes from pond to pond exploring the world. Only one day, he's seen by another boy.
