*Yoongi's POV*

I feel like I'm walking in circles.

Since Jungkook, Hoseok, and I have that evaluation coming up soon, I decided to practice a bit more on one of the surgery simulator machines in the break room. I've spent a whole 15 minutes already just counting up my materials and making sure that they're set up in the proper manner.

I've repeated this practice more times than I can recall and I haven't failed yet. I just don't understand how I let such a small mistake slip through the cracks. Especially one that was so easy to prevent. Now it's ruined everything I've worked for. I have to start from square one again and there's nothing I can do about it. I absolutely cannot fail this time, not after everything I've worked for. I will not let my dad believe that he was right about me.

*flashback: year 2008*

Min Yoongi was a genius, there was no denying it. This fact was only proved further when he was given the opportunity to skip his sophomore and junior years of high school at Daegu's Private School for Boys, the place he had been getting his education since he was five. Yoongi's teachers all knew that he was simply too intelligent for regular classes so they decided that if they wanted to challenge him enough, he would have to be moved up to a higher grade level.

"Well son I must say, I am impressed, you are going to make one hell of a lawyer one day when you take over the firm. I'm glad I don't have to worry about losing my fortune when I'm gone." Yoongi's father remarked confidently, Yoongi just rolled his eyes and sighed.

"For the last time dad. NO! I don't want to take your place defending crude people!" Yoongi remarked, making his father glare daggers at him.

"Don't you DARE raise your voice at me, boy!! As long as I'm still breathing, I'm the man of this house!! And you will respect me!!! Do I make myself clear?!" Mr. Min yells in the fifteen year old's face, causing him to flinch.

"Answer me when I speak to you!" Mr. Min exclaimes.

"Yes sir." Yoongi says quietly through gritted teeth, furious with himself for submitting to his father's temper. His father then backs away giving Yoongi a disappointed look.

"I'm telling you Yoongi, this whole doctor phase that you've got going on has got to end. It's a ginormous blemish on the Min name. We are one of the most famous law firms in the entire country right now. Your grandfather was an attorney, and his father was an attorney, and his father's father was an attorney, and his father's father's father was an attorney and that is just the tip of the iceberg. This reputation goes back for decades. Now how would I be looked upon by society if MY own son did not carry on that legacy? I'd be a disgrace to my fathers. Remember son, if this company falls, YOU will be it's poison and I don't think that you want that resting on your conscience. It will follow you to your grave." Yoongi's father explains, making the fifteen year old's teeth grind.

"Dad, you're forgetting one thing. I AM NOT YOU. I'm not anyone. I'm Min Yoongi, that is who I am and if I want to be a doctor, I'm gonna be a doctor weather you approve or not. Unless God himself comes down and tells me not to be a doctor, that part of me will never change, so sorry to burst your carefully crafted bubble that you've created for me since birth!" Yoongi angrily explained, much to his father's disdain.

"You are making the biggest mistake of your life son! You were never ment to be a doctor! It's not in your bloodline! You go into a field like that you'll fail before reaching age thirty. You can't handle it." Yoongi's father says, scoffing at his son's confidence but Yoongi doesn't care, he looks his father dead cold in the eyes and coldly states these simple words.
