From Zero to Hundred (2.4)

The events of last night were truly heartbreaking. You have never seen the boys fight like that before. Now it seems their friendship may be hanging by a thread at this point, and you could tell from their thoughts that they want to fix this. However, they don't know-how. Also as of right now, it seems that Ben took over the living room and kitchen area while Jeff is in your bedroom and bathroom area. Your apartment was like a battlefield if at any point one of the boys were to cross over to the other side; a war would start. Sadly you were in between the fight, Ben is your friend and Jeff is your boyfriend. So this was definitely an uncomfortable and difficult situation to be in right now, especially with trying to figure out your old and new memories. While you got your old memories back your new ones got all mixed up in the process. You still remembered school, Mark, and all your work you have to do. But none of the tiny and important details that go along with them. So now hopefully you can make this work, sorting out your memories while also helping Ben and Jeff out. You awake from your bed and let out a big yawn, you notice that Jeff is still asleep so you make your way as quickly and quietly as possible to the kitchen to get some coffee. As you start to twist the knob to open the door; it was locked. You groaned in annoyance, Ben actually locked the door. As you were about to knock you heard the door click and creak open.

"Come in (y/n)" Ben said in a low voice. You were slightly confused about what just happened but once you entered the room the door closed behind you.

"Ben, why did you lock the door?" You asked.

"Sorry I just don't want anything to do with Jeff right now. From now on the door will only open for you, I put spell on it" Ben said assuring you. Once you heard he used magic you started to get a little mad.

"Ben why are you using magic?! Jeff said you're dying!" You yelled at him. Ben wasn't startled by it.

"So what if I die? I'm sure by this point Mindfreak is weak, Slendy can deal with her, and everyone can just deal without me" Ben was certainly very miserable. That whole fight really put a dent in their odd but good friendship.

"Don't say that Ben. I care about you and so does Jeff" you assured him. But it seems to budge.

"Thank you for your kind words but at this point, words can't help me right now. Oh, by the way, I made you some scrambled eggs with toast as an apology from last night" Ben points over to the plate of eggs and toast on the table. You were very thankful that Ben made you breakfast but it wasn't necessary.

"Oh thank you but you really didn't have to" you walk over to the counter drawers to grab a fork, you take a bite out of eggs and your face lit up like the sun. They were the most delicious eggs you have ever had in your whole life.

"Good?" Ben asked.

"They are amazing! Thanks, Ben!" You smiled at him. As you took another bite of the eggs you begin to realize that Jeff and Ben should make up soon. I mean with the whole Shape Shifter business, your memories all crossed, and your powers still very weak you kinda need help with both boys. Plus you cared for both of them, and your gonna sit on the sidelines to watch this fight.

"Look, Ben...I don't know what happened between you and Jeff at the manor but I can tell it really hurt you. Would you care to talk about it?" Ben was silent for a moment, he turned and invited you to sit next to him on the couch. You gladly took the opportunity, once you sat down Ben looked down at the floor.

"I've been friends with Jeff since the moment he arrived at the manor. I knew he wasn't going to be easy so I was very patient with him; extremely patient" Ben begins to explain that Ben tried so hard to become friends with Jeff that he put a lot of his time and effort into him. Overtime Ben believed that Jeff was starting to accept him so he was blinded by that statement. Ben looked pasted all the using, mocking, ignorance, and cruelty that Jeff was inflicting on him. Ben was so blinded by the fact that Jeff was actually allowing Ben to spend time with him that he thought all the horrible stuff was just Jeff's way of being friends. Then recently Ben had enough. Ben tried to cheer him up for the past year or so but Jeff flipped out on Ben. Jeff telling Ben that he was going to kill him with such a blunt and angry tone finally got Ben to open his eyes.
