Jeff the Killer x Reader: Stay Awake!

Locked in a deep sleep you feel nothing but the ultimate soul-crushing sensation of failure and regret. You caused Ben to disappear, Jeff to leave you, and now you allowed Shape Shifter to win. All because of your doubt and emotions towards Mark clouded your judgment. You're back in that maroon colored dreamscape once again, holding your knees to your body and closed off. Wishing that you could remain in this world since it was the only safe place you knew. Suddenly a light appears, you look over to see that it was the same flame that spoke to you before.

"Child...child come here" the flame spoke from a distance.

"Leave me alone. I just want to stay here" you responded in a low voice.

"If you stay here, you and your friends will die!" The voice persisted

"I don't care about me, and I'm sure my friends can handle themselves. Besides I failed them, I'm sure they don't even want to see me" you pouted, feeling down.

"Child you don't understand, you're the only one who can save them! But you have to wake up" as much as you wanted to push the voices away. Something inside your heart was telling you to listen.

"W-what do you mean?" You curiously wondered.

"You hold a great deal of power, a rare one. It can only be unlocked once you have accepted the truth but most of all when you face her" the voice explains to you.

"Her? You mean Mindfreak?" You questioned.

"Yes! Now hurry child you must wake up now, the time is quickly approaching" the voice said and the flame slowly started to fade away.

Suddenly your muscles start to tense up a bit as you see a white light heading your way. You were waking up. Eyes flicker and you can see you're in the forest being carried. Your body was still a bit numb from the drug but you look up and see Shape Shifter. Grinning and filled with overwhelming success. Tilting your head you see Ben and Jeff, unconscious, and appeared to be being carried by two shadow figures. Using a bit of your powers you could sense Jeff was still alive, however, Ben's life was hanging by a thread. You needed to come up with a plan and fast.

Within moments you arrived at the Slender manor. The sounds of the creaking pouch reach your ears. Shifter then kicks open the door with his foot and smiles maliciously. Taking a couple of steps in the two shadow figures appear on each side of him.

"I'm back~" he declares. The room looked empty until footsteps could be heard. Emerging from the shadows is Laughing Jack and Slenderman, glaring angrily at Shape Shifters' arrival.

"Bringing back my missing members isn't going to get you back into the manor Shifter." Slenderman spoke in a deep voice.

"Oh? Whoever said I brought them here for you. Think of it as more of a trade" Shifter spoke with confidence and a grin.

"Trade? What could you possibly want?" Jack scoffed.

"I want you to release Mindfreak or I will kill all three of them. Right here, right now" suddenly one of Shifter's fingers close to your face turned into a blade. He smirked as he pointed the blade to your face.

"She is serving for her crimes. She is not allowed to be released, besides you're a fool. You brought a human here and you're here alone" Slenderman states.

"I'm the fool? You're the fool Slenderman! Trying to act like she is just a normal human well that is far from the truth. You don't want her dead nor are you ever gonna kill her! Why? Well you think you and Ben are the only ones who know the secret?!" Shifter bounces back at Slenderman, leaving him a bit thrown off. Jack looked at his boss, confused and concerned.
