Do you remember yesterday?
Remember the way the shadows kissed our feet
The way they kissed our souls
Do you remember yesterday?

Do you want to go back?
To when the fields cheered,
When the birds screamed
Cheering us on into today

Do you remember when you turned to me?
When you smiled and showed me the world?
Yesterday when you laughed as speeding cars passed
Telling me that it's all in the past

We should live in the now
But that I should remember the future was us
Do you remember when we danced?
Under the stars under the darkened sun and the illuminated moon

Do you remember the sounds of wind rushing through our hair
How we stood against the world
How we stared down the night
And how we rushed it into tomorrow

Do you remember yesterday?
Are you ready for today?
The day without a name
Are you ready to face the unknown, to face the rest of our lives

To put a title on our stories,
To put a label on our lives
Are you ready to become something more than just unknown, untitled.
Are you ready to become more than just an untitled poem?

An untitled song?
An untitled story?
Are you ready to become you?
