Wind blew on the sandy desert land as the sounds of the desert filled the air. A melodic wind past, sounding like to voice of a woman singing slowly and calmly. There were small butterflies made of light that flittered about and the sun started to rise above the clouds on the horizon. The still sand reflected the oncoming light, creating a peaceful atmosphere.
Until a portal opened and three screaming skeletons flew out.
The skeletons flew through the air, causing the few birds that occupied the sky to fly away. As they looked down at the oncoming ground that rose up to them at an alarming rate, they all started to protect themselves from the impact.
"We're gonna dust!" Blue screamed as he started flailing around.
"Shut the hell up asshole! Your not the one with one hp!" Fell yelled back.
Classic just stared ahead looking relaxed, but you could see the nervousness in his eyes and the sweat rolling down his skull. Blue started to curl up in a ball and thought furiously for a way out of their mess. Suddenly, he looked up with a smile on his face as he talked quickly.
"What if you guys teleported down? I'd still get hurt but I wouldn't dust from the impact!"
Classic and Fell looked at each other and shrugged. They both had their eye magic flaring as they tried to teleport, but the eye magic quickly diminished, leaving both boys very confused. They tried to use a few other magic attacks, like Blasters and bones but failed miserably. They looked over at Blue who had a sudden realization. He tried to summon his bones and magic attacks as well and looked mortified when he saw he couldn't.
"M-my attacks.." Blue trailed off as he looked at his hands in utmost terror.
"We don't have time for this asshole! May I remind you that we are plummeting to our deaths?" Fell screamed again causing Blue to snap out of his funk. He thought to himself before looking up again with a hopeful expression.
"We could try to land on the ground and slide?.." His voice trailed off again as he saw the look on Fell's face.
"I knew it! This asshole really is tryin' ta kill us!"
Classic decided to speak up before the two of them got into an argument. "Whatever. I'm too lazy to think of a better idea, so let's try it." Fell looked back at Classic to see him stretching his legs out in an attempt to brace himself. He then looked over at Blue who was doing the same. He then sighed and muttered to himself. "I am really going to listen to these two idiots.." He too stretched his legs out and prepared for impact.
The skeletons closed their eye sockets as they prepared for the crash.
One second.
Two.
Three.
Four.
Five.
After six final seconds, their feet hit the soft sand and they slid forward a bit. Fell opened his eyes to see Classic fall over and Blue stumble slightly. He looked forward again and leaned in a bit, picking up speed. He called back to the others. "Hey guys! I'm doing it!" He grinned stupidly as he kept looking back at them.
"Uh, Fell? You might want to stop.." Blue's voice trailed off as Fell looked forward, only to collide with a large rock. Fell landed on his back and groaned, holding his skull where he had been hit. Blue rushed over to help him get up, then recoiled quickly.
"What's wrong? Do I have somethin' on my face?" Fell asked quickly. Classic slowly walked over to Blue and put a hand on his shoulder. "What's the matter pal?" Blue quickly pointed to Fell's face without looking at Classic. Classic turned his head to look at his face and his eyes widened.
Fell quickly turned away from them and looked for a reflective surface. He soon found a small puddle and looked in. What he saw shocked him.
In his reflection stared his normal face, apart from his eyes. His eyes were glowing bright yellow. He tried to start his eye flare but quickly found it to be impossible. Fell quickly turned around to see that Classic and Blue's eyes were the same. He also saw that their clothes had changed.
"Uh, guys? What's with the new clothes?" Blue heard this and looked down, then yelped. They were all wearing the same thing, a long cotton shirt with quarter length sleeves and cotton shorts that opened wider around the legs. Each of them had a small circle on their shirts, each glowing a different color. Blue had teal, Classic had blue, and Fell had red. Classic shivered slightly from lack of warmth on his arms. Blue felt around his neck for his bandana and came empty handed.
Blue spoke up. "W-What's going on?! We've never been affected by an Au before! We've just stayed ourselves!"
Blue sat on the ground and started shaking slightly while hugging his chest. Classic seemed too stunned to say anything and sat on the ground next to Blue. Fell however had a slightly different reaction. He was shocked at first, but that shock soon turned into rage. He quickly spun around on his heel and pointed at the sky.
"Hey! Get us the hell outta here you assholes! Ya hear me?! Stop messin' around and get us outta here!"
But nobody came...
