Price had seemed almost too cheery, even though we were all a bit too groggy and slow today. We had expected him to yell at us, which is normal, but he surprised us by doing the opposite of what was expected. He decided to gather all of us into a meeting room. He said it was for something important and literally everyone on base had to be there. The original briefing room that we all went to was surprisingly too small. I don't think I've ever seen us all try to get together like this especially with the team growing a bit.

We ended up in one of the smaller hangers, one with our smaller helicopter and a decent amount of standing space. Nikolai had to move the chopper so that it could actually fit all of us, but it worked out in the end. Price stands in front of us all, he's holding a stack of papers which seemed to be the reason of him being in such a good mood.

"We're going on a cruise." Price starts, there's a bit too much cheer in his voice for our liking.

"A cruise?" Soap questions, a bit taken back. "Wait all of us?"

"Yes, all of us." Price replies, he's starting to hand out papers to everyone in the room. He had gathered everyone from the 141, instructing that everything is already paid for and that we'll be leaving in a few weeks.

"So you tell us now?" Soap crosses his arms, not accepting the paper from Price.

"Yes," Price places the paper in between Soap's crosses arms. "I figured that I might as well say something before it's the day before and it's more of an order that you all go, instead of a nice gesture that we all go as a team. It'll be good for all of us. I already cleared it with Baseplate and we're good to go."

"What if the world needs us, sir?" Ghost chimes in. "Then what?" He doesn't seem as thrilled as just about all of us, including myself. Him and Soap seem to be the only two that are annoyed by this.

"It's a week. I'm ninety percent sure that the world won't end in the time it takes for our cruise to make a round trip. If it does then there are plenty of other soldiers to handle it."

Ghost didn't seem super happy with that answer, though ended up keeping his mouth shut. Price dismissed us, before anyone else could protest. Soap, Ghost, and myself stayed behind.

"And we have to?" Soap asks one last time.

"Yes 'we have to'. Like I said before it'll be nice and I think it'll help some of you." Price gives me a look. "Right Roach?"

"Of course sir, it'll be a lot of fun," I reply, starting to smile under my mask. I know he's wanting me to help hype it up. "I think you both will enjoy it a lot." I put an arm around both Soap and Ghost.

"I'm not too sure about it, sir..." Ghosts voice trails off, it almost sounds like the cruise will kill him.

"Then Roach is tasked with ensuring that you two have a good time."

"Tch, good luck, Roach. Cause I'm already not going to have a good time." Soap says as he gets out of my grasp. He starts to head out of the room.

"Roach," Price starts a small grin forming. "Make sure he has a great time."

I chuckle a little, "I will, sir."

Ghost grumbles something before getting out of my grasp too. He soon catches up with Soap.

"Ghost as well. I want everyone to have a good time but I want Soap and Ghost to have an amazing time." Price says, patting my shoulder.

"Of course, sir." I reply, chuckling again. Soap and Ghost don't know it yet but I'm going to make sure they have an amazing time.

As the weeks went by, the 141 has become more and more excited for the trip. They seemed to of been seeing why they need it more and more as we get closer. Soap and Ghost have still protested though it's gotten quieter with more time. Price had helped us with lists since he knows almost exactly what we'll all be doing. He split up into groups of four, carefully placing him with Ghost, Soap, and myself. All the guys seemed happy with Price's group decisions, which was nice since Price really didn't want anyone to have a bad group. This week vacation was too carefully planned, in Prices eyes, to have something go wrong.
