19C leapt from the interior of the van, at the armoured... demon... knives in her hands, only to be caught by the throat and hauled out into the air and slowly spun around. She could breathe enough that she was still conscious as she saw the last remains of her team fighting and being easily finished off by the vampires who had arrived near the tail end of the battle.
"You... you smell of her..." The demon's voice was a frightening combination of fury, pain and pleasure, and 19 felt something in her neck crack as she was shaken once. She lost feeling and control of her body, hearing her blades drop to the ground. "Oops."
The demon grinned up at her, head tilting to the side as 19 felt relief running through her mind. At least, if she were paralyzed, she couldn't feel any more pain. "Fuck you."
"You're wrong." That painfully delicious voice purred, before 19 began to drown in more pain than humanly possible.
She screamed, she begged. She pleaded. She bargained.
And the demon accepted.

Urdu snapped the woman's neck and dropped her body to the ground, letting out a shaking breath and turning to see the vampires standing there, watching her. She braced herself for the revulsion. The high handed judgement that came from creatures that clung to their vestiges of humanity. Or even a little bit of fear.
Some of the younger ones had that. Carbry had a healthy bit of caution in his eyes, but he merely nodded towards the waiting vehicles. "We should get going."
Urdu nodded, finally shifting her eyes to Timothy, seeing him standing there, watching her with awe and pride. She could feel the waves of soul shattering love rolling off of him then, though she smirked every so slightly when she sensed a tiny bit of something else. As the others turned to start making their way towards the vehicles and Tim fell into step beside her, she murmured, "jealousy, Timothy?"
"Well no... but you know how much I love that voice." He grinned to her, before running his gaze up and down her, "can you let go of the armour? Or do you need me to help you take it off."
"I'll probably be better suited to taking it off by hand." She muttered, forcing herself to relax. Tim seemed to trust this team. It was hard enough for her to trust anyone when she was injured, but the vampires barely paid them any mind as they climbed into their vehicles.
Carbry pulled open the back door and nodded to the interior, "you two take the back seat, I'll ride point with Bryn... You're safe with my people, Urdu. I swear to you."
She half scowled at him, for presuming to assume she thought them any threat whatsoever, but he merely offered her an insolent smirk as Tim growled and guided her into the SUV. It was a spacious area, with enough room for her to kneel on the ground and lean into the back of the seat in the front as Tim sat in front of her and began to unbuckle her armour. She closed her eyes for a moment, feeling the odd sensation of movement from the vehicle, and when she opened them, she found Tim smirking at her.
"What?" she told herself that she was too tired to be angry with him as he carefully lifted her helmet from her head, running his fingers over her skin in search of injuries.
"When was the last time you were in a car, lover?" His voice had a gentle tease to it, because his only alternative was worry, as he took in how injured she was, under her replenished armour.
"I don't usually need to travel in this way." She glared at him, but he stubbornly ignored the heat from it and continued undressing her. Though she could tell he was relieved when he realized she was clothed underneath.
Scantily, in a light tank top and shorts, due to her lack of needing a cushioning barrier with magically maintained armour. But it was more for him than her, seeing as how she already felt his jealousy spike a little when his eyes flicked to the two in the front seat.
"Next time we're going on a date involving battle, you're going to bring me with you from the beginning." Tim grumbled, narrowing his eyes on her, "me showing up at the end does not count."
"A date?" Carbry asked idly from the front seat, sounding relatively amused.
"Demons... part of courtship for us, is going into battle with our mates." Urdu said idly, leaning into Tim's hands as he pulled her up off the ground and onto the seat so he could strip her legs free of the protective demon metal.
Carbry laughed softly, the grin clear in his voice, "I like how you think. But Tim is right. You had most of the fun in this round."
"Well, don't take so long next time." Urdu muttered, grinning as she watched Tim scowl at her. She blinked when Tim moved, pulling out a large cloth bag and opening it up to expose a selection of medical supplies, "I'm fine."
"You're bleeding. And even if you don't think you need medical care, you're bleeding all over the inside of this car.... And the smell of demon blood is incredibly odd and tantalizing... and you said it was something like crack for us vampires, so unless you want to be riding with some cranked out junkies all the way home, I get to fix you." Tim snarled, though his immediate look of happiness when she held up her hands in defeat was enough to melt her heart.
