There was always a reason for Melonie. She tried hard to fit in and be apart of everyone in the underworld, but she was never meant to belong. She was after all night and day. The light that balanced the darkness. That was until now. She was never supposed to have consumed Ebony, the dark. Melonie's sole intention was to save Ace and Karma though it had the opposite effect seeing as she lost control of it all. The flame ignited within her heart and when she grew angrier she gave in revealing everything. It had begun with hellfire bursting out of her causing an extreme force to toss Ash and Lucifer to either side. Their bodies had flung across making blood spew out of their mouths when they finally hit the cold, hard ground. After that small commotion it turned into something bigger. Her body mutated into her demon form outside of the underworld. It didn't end there because when her form had shown, everyone cowered in fear, screaming and begging. So, when they all ran Melinoe didn't care because she had known that she would catch up.

"For clarification this is my world," she said with a distorted voice.

"Melinoe! Stop!" Lucifer shouted in demand.

A vein formed at the temple of Lucifer's face when he had called out to Melinoe who ignored his plea. Even as a demon he didn't believe in hurting the innocent unless they deserved it which Ash had agreed with, but couldn't help being lured by Melinoe's words.

"My King," She kneeled facing him. "...I will show no mercy to the weak."

As her words rung through his ears Melinoe was standing behind Ash. A whisper of words had been exchanged when Ash disappeared. The words that enchanted Ash had now become the words of demand. She was in control of every action Ash would do even if Ash refused to. The beauty and grace of a darkened soul caused more harm than good because what soul would she have had if she wasn't pure. A sense of innocence loomed over her, but had faded when Ash killed the girl who stood behind Ace and Karma.

"Believe me, Lucifer when I say that there will be no mercy," Melinoe went on.

Everything about Melinoe had perished, she was no longer the innocent girl everyone assumed to believe. They destroyed her, but she made sure it would process faster when she was confronted with Ace and Karma who were angered at her action. A broken soul was what she had one that couldn't be healed.

"What have you done?!" They shouted in unison directed to Melinoe.

Her wings fell as she approached them. Lucifer had hope for her, but it would crumble before his eyes.

Melinoe smirked, "You said you loved me... you're a liar!"

The demonic wings spread out as she covered herself turning her back into her human, but still demonic form. Darkness is what consumed the girl. The trigger being love. She was revolted by the idea even though she hadn't known what it had really meant for her. In her past it was love that caused her pain and anguish which she couldn't forget as her memories only contained the broken parts of her life.

"I guess so. And here I thought us seeing each other would at least fix the three years that went by!" he interjected.

She walked over and closer to him; lips that were inches apart. "Three years? You should've given up."

Her eyes scanned every part of him moving all around his body perfectly still. She was a sadist now knowing full well that love was nothing more than a burden on the mundane. When she finished her eyebrows furrowed in a concerned look though with a slight gesture she began cackling because she succeeded in taunting him.

"You're too easy. You cling onto these feelings that will never be returned so I suggest you give up."

"After three years I've held onto you I'm not going to give up. Even if I hadn't shown it because I knew if you knew the this would happen," Ace remarked.

"If you knew then I presume Lucifer is responsible for your friends death?"

She turned toward Lucifer who was limping and grasping onto his abdomen. It was then and there that she decided that earth would be her new domain. A place where she would rule, a new underworld.

"No one is responsible, London," Ace eased.

At the moment Karma was tending to the girl who's abdomen was pierced. He was struggling and panicking. His eyes filled with water as his vision became blurry and soon that focus would be turned toward Melinoe who he was now outraged with. Now, he thought of her as the revolting one. To him she was a girl filled with only hate in her heart. He let go of the girls body and lay her there to rest peacefully as he closed her eyelids and stood up. His hand turned into a fist as he began running toward her in anger. As Melinoe was now vulnerable in his eyes he extended his arm out to her and created a blast. Her spirit was now gone when she had been able to shield herself using her wings that wrapped around her body and spread it out as the blasts effect deflected onto the two males.

"You two are petty humans who can only handle so much so now tell me how long can you hold me off for until I turn this world into hell," she spat.

"I think you two should... ugh... leave," Lucifer mentioned.

Even they were apart from one another everything was filled with utter silence which was disrupted when Melinoe screamed. A flame once again bursted creating a circle around her following after a fire ignited when a tree was burning. The scream and cry of a demon was far more dangerous when consumed by the eternity of darkness.

"Run!" Lucifer shouted.

Ace was walking backwards slowly and began running when Karma snapped him back reality by dragging him away from Melinoe. Her hair no longer the light shade of brown turned into a raven color. She looked back at the boys who were running and turned back to Lucifer who was now sweating and bleeding on the ground still desperately clinging onto his stomach. That's when she walked toward him getting closer to the point where she hovered over his almost already-dead body

"Don't worry, you may have been affected by my magic, but you won't die," she crouched caressing his forehead. "You'll live until I say you can die."

She got back up leaving behind a struggling Lucifer and linked arms with Ash, who clung onto every single word of hers. All of that was caused by the ebony within her heart that was slowly fulfilling every dark desire.
