5: serious moment with Yuna

"Hey babe, I'm gonna go first." She said before standing up from the couch to stretch a little.

"Okay. I'll be with my friends if you need me."

Ryujin headed downstairs to the library and found a four-seater table for Yuna and her. While waiting for Yuna, her heart was pounding aggressively against her chest and she would glance at the door every few minutes. Ryujin placed a hand on her chest to somehow calm her heart down. 'Why am I even feeling this way what the fuck?' She yawned. 'I guess it wouldn't hurt to take a short nap.'

Ryujin folded her arms on the table and rested her head on them. She closed her eyes before going into a deep slumber.

Yuna hurriedly walked to the school from the bus stop while checking her watch every now and then. It is such a hassle to live somewhere far away from the school.

She showed her student assistant ID card to the security guard before going into the school. Soon, she reached the library. There were still students studying and some just staying in school to avoid going home so early.

Yuna looked around and spotted a clump of pink hair on a table which seems to look like a wig (Ryujin slouched so much that her body wasn't visible to her). And Yuna being Yuna, she wanted to pick the 'pink wig' up thus she proceeded to pull the hair.

Ryujin let out a high-pitched scream and groped at the hands that is pulling on her pink locks, trying to pry them away.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" Yuna exclaimed, covering her mouth with her hands.

"What the fuck dude!" Ryujin massaged her painful scalp. Her loud shriek earned her a couple of "Shhhhh"s from the librarian and the students in the library. She whipped her head around to give them the death stare before turning back and facing Yuna. "Why why why can't you do anything right, oh my God." She said with a very obvious hint of annoyance.

"Err do you want to come over to my house to put some medication?" Yuna gave a small smile while twiddling with her thumbs, wanting to calm the furious pink-headed girl down.

"Heck no." Ryujin stood up. "You know what, I'm not in the mood to study anymore."

Yuna was actually pleased when she received a message from Ryujin saying that she wanted to study. And on top of that, she probably also put in some effort trying to get her number from Yuna's friends. However, now that Ryujin is leaving, it made her sad.

Yuna got misty-eyed and her bottom lip started to quiver a little. Her nose turned red as a tear slid down her cheek. Ryujin was at the library entrance and she turned back to take one last look at Yuna before leaving. Her eyes became as big as saucers as she saw Yuna weeping.

She dashed over to were Yuna is standing and patted her back soothingly. "H-hey, I'm sorry okay?" She tried to make Yuna stop crying as the people around her were shooting dirty looks at Ryujin. "I'll go to your house okay? Just stop crying already."

Yuna broke into a smile and wiped her wet face onto Ryujin's shirt (to Ryujin's disgust) before grabbing her hand and skipping out of the library.

"I got sprite, is that okay?" Yuna set two glasses of sprite on the table. "Is your head still okay?"

"It's fine now."

Yuna asked if Ryujin is in the mood to study now and to her surprise, Ryujin agreed to study.

"But I don't have my study materials with me right now."

Yuna stood up and looked through her shelf of textbooks and study guides. "Coincidentally, I'm also studying advanced bio so I have the textbook that you can borrow."

Ryujin looked at her in awe. "Wow, we take the same course. Aren't we fated or what?" The word 'fated' made Yuna's face turn as red as beet. She already found the textbook but pretended to continue search to allow the color of her face to turn back to normal.

"Haha, I am taking that course now but I don't know how long more can I study advanced bio."

Ryujin's faced scrunched up. "What do you mean?"

"Ryujin, as you can see, I'm living alone. I need to pay for my rent and my course, not to mention I need to pay for little things like food and transport.." Her voice trailed off with a tinge of sadness.

"Eh? Don't you have your job at the kbbq place?"

Yuna turned to face Ryujin with that stare, expecting her to know the reason.

"I got fired, remember?"

"Ah.." Ryujin awkwardly scratched the back of her head. "Look, I'm sorry about that. It's just that.. my anger gets out of control sometimes."

Yuna turned her whole body around to face Ryujin. "Yeah I know. I'm just stressed out on how am I going to survive."

"Um.. I can get my dad to give you a job if you want."

Yuna's eyes sparkled and her smile returned to her face. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She hugged Ryujin, almost suffocating her, while saying "Thank you" over and over again.

Ryujin, feeling pity for the blonde, hugged back.
