Todoroki woke to a knock on his door. He had slept through his alarm. He got up and opened the door to find Uraraka waiting for him.

"Good. Your up. It's ten o'clock and you haven't asked her yet. Tidy yourself up and go ask her. She's outside helping set up the lights for tonight. You have ten minutes until she goes to get her dress with the rest of us girls. Take my advice and hurry."

That set him into action. Brushing his teeth and hair, taking the worlds fastest shower and changing into something plain, he stepped out of his room to see that Uraraka was still there.

"Three minutes and counting." She said as she lead him to were (y/n) was working. She shoved a rose into his hand and left as if she had never been there. With a deep breath, he walked up to her. When she noticed him she instantly stopped, she saw the rose in his hands and read the look on his face.

"(y/n), will you be my partner to the dance tonight?" He said, as perfect as he had got it from practising in front of the mirror. He held the rose out to her and she carefully accepted it. Then she did the most unexpected thing. She pushed herself onto her tippy toes and kissed him. Sweet and soft as if she was worried he would reject her, she pulled back and gave her answer.

"I would love to go to the dance with you. Thank you for asking."

They just stood their, blushing so violently that they might never go back to normal.

"(y/n)! Time to go pick up the dress! Come on, we cannot be late!" Yelled Uraraka from the distance.

"I'll see you at the dance then." She said as she ran to get to Uraraka and the other girls. From the smugness on their faces, they had seen the whole thing and didn't regret anything. When she was gone, he realised just how many people had seen their kiss. Oops, he thought as Kirishima, Deku, Bakugo and Ida approached him.

"Good job, Todoroki! You finally got a girlfriend! Good on you!" Exclaimed Kirishima

"She's not my girlfriend..." He mumbled

"Yet." Said Deku smugly in a way he had never seen Deku before.

"You certainly have a way with girls." Said Bakugo. Everyone but Deku starred at him in surprise. Had he just given a compliment? He then went back to his normal self by continuing. "Your still a no good bastard, don't get me wrong. But that was smooth for a bastard."

Next it was Ida's turn.

"I must say that your compatibility was high and I am not surprised by this development. Although a school is no place for romance, you did a good job of it. I except you to be on your best behaviour with her at the dance tonight. I myself have an emotional attachment to one of my classmates, so I support you relationship."

"You mean your crush on Uraraka? We all know your going to the dance with her. You've been swooning over her for months."

Outraged, Ida replied.

"I do not have a simple 'crush' on Uraraka. It is an emotional attraction. I don't swoon."

"But you do blush." Commented Todoroki as Ida's checks went from pale as paper to as red as a tomato. This pointless argument continue until Todoroki suggested that they should prepare for the dance and go get their tuxedos. Todoroki left to go get his.

He stood in front of the mirror, trying on his tux. He had gotten it made custom for this night and it had to be perfect. The tuxedo was a deep black, with a red embroidery along the collar and around the sleeves. It was a perfect fit. He took it off and hung it back up. Three hours until the dance began at night fall. He set an alarm for an hour before the dance and tried to get some sleep. A thought popped into his head. This night was make or break. That was the thought that scared him the most.
