There was only one shop the Todoroki knew that sold swimwear and it was called 'Pool Party'. It had everything from the skimpiest bikini to full body diving suits. They chose a variety of different things and tried them on one at a time. Todoroki eventually chose a pair of white short with black waves on them and (y/n) chose a one part swimsuit that was black with little delicate white stars on it. It had an open backing to about half way down her back. Even Todoroki admitted that it worked well with her mask. As they walk to the pool Uraraka had loaned, they told jokes and talked about school stuff. Once they ran out of things to talk about they were met by a surprise. A bad tempered, yellow haired surprise. Bakugo literally ran into (y/n). Once the had both recovered, Todoroki attempted conversation.

"Hello Bakugo, Are you going to Uraraka's pool party as well?"

"Yeah, the nerd convinced me to come to that stupid thing. Why are you going?"

Todoroki shrugged.

"Nothing else to do."

Bakugo gave a grunt for a response. He gave (y/n) a once over and continued on his way to the pool.

"I know a shortcut." Said Todoroki as he lead them through a park, over a bridge and down an alleyway. They came out at the entrance to the pool. Deku was standing out side the pool.

"Hey guys! Glad you could make it!"

They both gave him a smile.

"You wouldn't have happened across Bakugo on your way, would you?"

"Yeah. He's on his way. We took a short cut so he should be here in about ten minutes."

"Thanks. It was really difficult to convince him to come, so I needed to know that he way holding you his end of the bargain. Have fun!"

As they walked in, classmates greeted them with a smile. Well, they greeted Todoroki with a smile. They greeted (y/n) with either a glare or a confused glance.

"Race you to the water." Said Todoroki suddenly.

"Your on."

They both sprinted as fast as they could, jump over objects and dodging around students as they laughed their heads off. Dive bombing the pool when they got there, no one knew which one of them had won. At the party there was music, food, pool toys, games and all sorts of fun.

"Volleyball fight!!" Yelled one of the students. The cry went up and everyone ran to the pool. Todoroki gave (y/n) a smile and swam of to take a side.

After a few hours of fun, some idiot (Bakugo) decided to use his powers in the pool, and so began the showing off contest. Whoever could do the most impressive show would get the mystery prize. Everyone was banding together to use their quirks to put on an impressive show. Todoroki wanted to team up with (y/n), but was unsure of how to ask. Luckily for him, she felt the same way.

"Do you.. ah.. want to team up with me?"

"Yes. Sure.. I mean... why not?"

"Um.. good, yeah... great!"

Awkward.

"So what do you want to do?" She asked

An idea sprung into his head.

"Are you fire prof and can you dance?"

"Yes I am fire prof and I am the ballet junior champion of the female division. So yes."

"Okay, here's the plan..."

(Time skip, because I'm that lazy)

"That was so much fun!" Exclaimed (y/n) as she and Todoroki watched the sun go down from the roof of Todoroki's house. Earlier, on their way back, they had found a climb-able tree that lead up to the roof. They had decided to have dinner on the roof because, why not? Just as they finished, (y/n) had an idea.

"Todoroki..."

"Yeah?"

"Is it okay if I show you something? It's in the forest a little bit and if we hurry, it will still be light when we get back..."

Todoroki smiled.

"Then let's get going. Lead the way."

(y/n) lead Todoroki into the forest to an unsuspecting clearing. The clearing was covered in leaves from the surrounding trees. (y/n) bent down and cleared some of the leave to reveal a secret hatch. The hatch was locked but (y/n) had the key.

"You let me into your house. It's only fair that I show you mine." She said simply as she lead him down the steps.

"I dug it out myself. What do you think? It's not much..."

Todoroki took in everything before him. An old bed was curtained off in the corner, a low table surrounded by pillows sat in the middle of the room, cubbyholes in the walls were filled with books and photos a makeshift kitchen was set up in one corner and a desk sat down one end. In the far corner sat a shrine covered in candles that didn't burn, flowers and photographs of the same three people. On a wall was a mess of photos. Each photo was labeled and named. The ones in the cubbies were kept clean and contained happy memories. The ones on the wall didn't. Notes were strung up on the wall as well. It was as if she was trying to piece together the horrors and keep them separate from her happy memories.

"I like it. It's nice. How long have you lived here?"

She looked uncomfortable but still answered.

"Since I escaped the League. Before the hero's found me and put me in prison. Then I lived in a isolation chamber until they brought me to U.A."

"How long did you spend in the chamber? You don't have to answer any of my questions if you do want to but sharing hard things make them easier to carry."

She took a deep breathe and answered his question.

"Two years. I spent two year in isolation."

This shocked Todoroki into silence. Who would keep a little girl in an isolation cell for two years just because her father was a villain? Which so called 'Hero' would do that?

"What Hero would do that?"

She looked away at his question.

"You don't want the answer to that."

"Please. Tell me. It will be my last question for tonight."

After a long pause, she whispered a name.

"Endeavour. The Hero Endeavour. Your father."

Her voice cracked and tears began to pour down her face. Todoroki sat in shock. His father was the hero who had imprisoned the one who was sitting beside him. He reached to comfort her but stopped when he touched her. A thin layer of cream was on her arm. She tried to pull away but he wouldn't let her. He wiped off the cream to see that she was using it to conceal scars. All over her arms were scars. He reached down and found more scars on her legs as well. She collapsed into a fit of sobs as he wrapped his arms around her as if he could protect her from her past.

"Your going to have to tell me everything. It's the only way I can help you."

"Not...now." She whispered. "On the... holidays... I'll tell you... everything. Promise."

That was enough for him. He would understand her enough to protect her and she wouldn't have to carry her past alone. She cried herself to sleep in his arms. Once she was fast asleep. He carried her back to his house and let her sleep in his bed again. In sleep, Todoroki could almost imagine she was a normal girl in her peacefulness. Almost.
