My last glimmer of hope { A J Hope fan fiction }

Revelation

My graduation ceremony was approaching very fast and we had a lot to prepare and all of my free time was taken up by the preparations that we had to take care of. Three days have passed since my date – if I can call it one – with J Hope. We texted each other every day since then that I came to know every little detail about his daily life.

"Are you free tonight?", he messaged me as soon as I wake up on Saturday. I jumped out of bed and felt dizzy for a second. I sat down on my bed and crossed my legs.

"Sure"

"Let's meet up! 8? At the café? I'll be waiting for you", he replied. I was dying to see him again. We were still at the beginning of knowing each other more.

"OK. I can't wait for tonight".

Crap! Eun Ji and I were planning to have a slumber party tonight. I guess the party will have to start a little late then.

"I have something to tell you", I messaged her.

"This early in the morning? You're scaring me, dude. What is it? Tell me now!", she sent.

I chose to ignore her message. As curious as she is, she would insist till I tell her everything now itself.

I got up and prepared myself for the day.

J Hope's POV:

I was again woken up by Jimin today. I checked my phone and it was 6 a.m. My phone screen displayed an event scheduled for today. The boys and I had a photoshoot for the new album concept. I smiled as I remembered how the last photoshoot ended with Jungkook being pushed in a lake by the hyungs.

"I know what you're thinking", Jimin said, smirking. He must have noticed my face expression. I gave him a quizzical look anyway.

"Photoshoots are always fun. Come on, let's go, we have to get there early", he explained.

"Yeah, we need to play a trick on Joonie this time", I said amusingly.

"Tell the others"

He left the room. I picked up my phone from the bedside table and began to text Min Mi:

"Are you free tonight?".

I hope she says yes. I have something really important to tell her.

"Sure", she replied.

"Let's meet up! 8? At the café? I'll be waiting for you", I texted back enthusiastically. I walked to the kitchen where Jin hyung was preparing pancakes.

"Do you want some? I just made them", he asked.

"Of course, man. They look delicious". I stuffed my mouth with pancakes and walked back to my room. I checked my phone and saw a message from Min Mi.

I hope she agrees.

"OK. I can't wait for tonight", says the message. Yes! I danced frantically around the room to celebrate and went to get prepared after Namjoon screamed from the living room that we had to go in 30 minutes followed by the protests of the other members.

Min Mi's POV:

"I can't believe you've been hiding this from me", Eun Ji yelled at me after I told her everything about J Hope.

"I was supposed to be your best friend", she continued.

I gave an apologizing look to the old lady in in front of us in in the line as she glared at Eun Ji.

"You're still my best friend. The thing is that I didn't want to get ahead of things and end up being disappointed. I would have told you sooner or later", I tried to justify myself.
