Min Mi's POV:
One week went by in a flash. Hoseok and I have been seeing each other more often. The coffee shop where we first met became our ultimate dating spot. The both of us would always sit at the table at the back and order the same thing every time.
J Hope soon became my safe haven; it felt as if during the day I was lost at sea, but he was the lighthouse that guided me back home.
People often say that home is where your heart is and I couldn't agree more now that I found him. It really feels like I'm home when I'm with him. I just hope it lasts for a very long time.
I counted the days till my graduation day but it felt weird to leave the place that I know so well and the people that I'm used to seeing every day, be it my classmates or the lady at the food court. Besides, I dreaded the idea of making the choice of pursuing further education abroad or here itself.
Eun Ji once told me before that I was simply scared of the unknown but should give it a try anyway and deep down, I know she is right.
J Hope's POV:
I still remember how a week ago Min Mi looked utterly surprised when I asked her to be my girlfriend but still accepted. I swear I've never been so happy. The boys keep on teasing me when we were home and would always ask me details about her. Well, not that I was trying to be secretive, but the less they know about her, the less chance there is of them accidentally mentioning her in the presence of Bang PD.
Min Mi and I have been going out almost every day in the past week. The boys never failed to cover me every single time that I went out without permission. It felt so great to see her after a long and exhausting day. Rehearsals and meetings were becoming more frequent as the concert day approached. Everyone here was busy with the preparations and fatigue could be seen on the faces of every member of the staff, especially the backup dancers that not only needed to learn part of the choreography but also were trained to arrange the set on stage during the various performances.
Everybody was working hard to make this happen, and I was grateful.
Min Mi's POV:
"Are you sure we can meet tonight? I don't want you to get into trouble because of me", I said to Hobi on the phone. He was being stubborn although he was aware that the manger vaguely mentioned that he would pay them a visit tonight to finalize some details of the show.
"Don't worry, the others will cover me as usual", he persisted. How could he be so careless? I can't allow him to put himself on the line. They've been preparing for months for this concert; he can't mess everything up now. I won't let him mess everything up now.
"I would understand if you couldn't come tonight", I tried to convince him, but in vain.
"It's alright, I assure you. And I'm sure manager-nim will not come today, he's way too busy", he argued. He was taking way too many risks.
"Fine, see you there then", I said and hung up.
J Hope's POV:
"Don't worry, the others will cover me as usual", I countered as she tried to dissuade me from coming tonight. It was true after all; the boys will help me out as always so why do we need to worry.
"Fine, see you there then", she said and hung up. I rushed to the bathroom to take a shower and got dressed as fast as I can. I rushed downstairs where Jin and Tae were watching tv.
"I'm going out", I addressed them as I headed towards the door.
"Wait, what? The manager said he'll come, you can't go out", Taehyung exclaimed.
"I'll be back before he comes"
If he ever comes.
The worried look on their face practically persuaded me to stay, but I needed to see Min Mi.
"I'll be back in no time", I told myself as I got into the elevator.
