Roddy was pissed.

There was no possible way for Gio to know about her being involved with her gang. She covered her tracks too well for anything like that to happen. The only answer she could come up with was a mole. Roddy trusted everyone in the crew, so she immediately ruled them out.

And then the realization hit her.

Kai felt the absence of a body as soon as he woke up from his slumber. He searched the bathroom only to no avail. Checking his phone, he received two texts from Roddy that said she would be back in an hour.

By the time he got downstairs, he was surprised to see Roddy at the dining table, eating waffles and fried chicken. She looked defeated.

"Where'd you go this morning?" She looked up at him with a totally blank face. Kai couldn't even think of a situation that would get her into that much of trouble.

"I had some business to tend to with an old," Roddy paused, "friend. Yes, friend." Kai looked at her suspiciously but sat down across from her nevertheless.

Somewhere downstairs, Brody was getting pricked and pinned.

"Rain, this hurts." Brody was a groaning, bleeding mess. Raina was making him a tailored suit from scratch and was excited at the prospect of having a live mannequin.

"I'm sorry, it'll be over soon!"

"You said that thirty minutes ago." Brody threw her a scowl and revived an antsy grin in return. He couldn't stay agitated for too long staring at the beautiful girl in front of him. "You're lucky you're cute."

"Aren't you lucky I'm cute, too?" She teased as she finished the right sleeve. She was actually close to being done.

"Why, yes I am. Maybe I should just show you how lucky I truly am." Raina was lifted into the air at that moment and thrown over Brody's back. She laughed as she was thrown onto the couch.

Kai's phone got a notification.

He didn't get them often due to the fact that he was surrounded by his closest companions on a daily basis.

"Meet me @ cafe on Saints Street. Urgent info. Come alone ASAP." Kai stared at his phone in confusion, wondering what could be important enough for an emergency meeting. He then checked the sender and was even more perturbed when an unknown number was displayed on the screen.

Kai was confused.

He ended up arriving at the cafe no more than thirty minutes later. He found an opening to leave when Roddy decided to partake in a private mission. Rather than prying, he grabbed a random set of car keys and was out.

"Kai! Kai!" He heard a loud voice calling from the corner of the cafe.

Glancing over, he was quite surprised to find Stella awaiting him in the corner seat. After carefully observing his surroundings, Kai sat down and faced her.

At that moment, he took a second to inspect her face and almost let out a gasp. She was severely beaten, bruises littering the mass of her face. She was a very pretty girl, but she looked utterly defeated in that moment.

"Kai, you have to listen to me. It is up to if you want to believe me." Kai raised an eyebrow at this but allowed the girl to continue nevertheless. "Roddy is not who you think she is. She is a monster, a tormentor. She enjoys playing with the weak. You have to stay away from her."

"No offense, Stella, but why should I believe you? I'm pretty sure you haven't liked her from the get-go." Stella raised her tired eyes. Bags were present and her skin was paling.

"Kai. Roddy did this to me. She ruined my face within a two minute time frame this morning." Kai wanted to say "atta girl," but Stella probably would not be too happy about that.

"I am sorry." Kai didn't know what he was apologizing for, but he just wanted this conversation to be over with.

"Don't be sorry, take my advice. Roddy will not hesitate to hurt anyone in that house, whether it be you or anyone else. Take this." Stella threw a manila file down on the table which Kai grabbed before he headed out the cafe.

As he got up to leave, a man who was several inches taller than him bumped into him.

"Sorry man." Kai looked into his eyes and almost gasped. They were brown, but they were so light they almost appeared green. The unknown man's presence made Kai uncomfortable and he didn't know why. The man stared at him a second too long before leaving.

Roddy was sitting in her study when Kai returned home.

"Roddy? Can we talk?"

She nodded, slightly gesturing with her head for him to sit in one of the empty couches facing her desk. He twiddled his thumbs, not knowing how to bring the issue at hand up.

"Where were you this morning?" Roddy glanced up from the papers she was handling and smirked. She had already known this conversation was coming.

"Hm? So, you paid my little friend Stella a visit?" Kai's face shot up, lined with worry. He did not want to appear as an enemy to Roddy.

"Yes and she was not looking too good." Roddy smiled, an image resurfacing of her finally beating the annoying brat up. Roddy personally believed that the brat had it coming.

"You've met my companion Gio, correct?" Kai nodded. "It came as a shock to me to know that he figured out I was with my organization after all of these years. I hide my tracks to the point where there were no tracks in the first place."

"Stella told him?"

"Snitches get stitches. Not literally though. Stella knows that if she even thought about going to the hospital the injuries would be ten times worse." Kai nodded, sighing in relief. He never had a doubt his Roddy would betray him nor anyone in the house.

"I'm gonna go turn on a movie in my bedroom, come join?" Roddy nodded but told him she had to make a phone call first.

"Agent Roddy." Roddy introduced herself. She heard a 'hmph' on the other side of the phone line.

"Stella has been taken care of. The manila file has been retrieved as well. I hope you have dealt with the boy?" A gruff voice muttered.

"Yes. He knows nothing. Will talk later."
