If anybody at New Haven High School told you anything about Nevayah Haleè they'd tell you she has a way of making impressions on people, good ones, of course.
When Nevayah rolled into town to rekindling the relationship with her brother who she hasn't seen since she was fourteen after her father had to be stationed overseas.
Often the locals would see the brother and sister pair having the time of their lives.
They would spend every other Friday night cooking dinner together or eating at the town local dinner which would be followed by early Saturday morning jogging trips to the town deli for cheese danishes and hot chocolate, which they laughed about how they defeated the purpose of the jog.
It was very cute how the siblings were with each other, people would smile as the Jonathan- JD as Nevayah called him, would sneak her food over her plate when she went to the bathroom or looked away. And Nevayah or Lilli as JD called her would have the perfect comeback, she would order an additional side or dessert for herself and the pair next to them.
JD never found it humorous as Nevayah or the Waitress did.
Since Nevayah's first moved to live with her older brother, Jonathan, in early November, the little town of New Haven and its population were shaken up when the petite dark-skinned girl befriends the Cullens.
But no one prepared for when the infamous Edward Cullen and the Ebony Goddess, Nevayah Haleè started dating.
It all started with a trip to the Grocery Store where Nevayah met Mrs. Esme Cullen and her son- soon to be best friend Emmett Cullen, With her dimpled smiles and witty comebacks, she won Emmett over as Mrs. Esme Cullen.
Continuing on her first day of school (November 8th), Nevayah met the rest of the Cullen Family and they all instantly connected.
Already familiar with Emmett Cullen, the larger and older brother of the bunch, they had quickly become best friends, giving each other nicknames; Cheeri and Captain Crunch.
Which lead to her meaning Jasper, The Major and Rosalie Hale.
When Jasper comforted her in History Class after an outburst, Nevayah knew Jasper would be a close friend, he never called her out for her "inappropriate behavior", he leads her to the hall and calmed her, distracting her with a simple conversation, helped her get her head on straight.
Meeting Rosalie Hale was a challenge not even Hercules could beat.
But Nevayah was never one to back down from a challenge she, meet the beautiful bombshell head-on and never back down, which gained her approval, not many can do.
When Rosalie snarked at Little Nevayah, our Nevayah came back just as hard, it was quite a sight to behold.
The Little Ebony Goddess in the making had wormed her way through the iron heart that was Rosalie Hale.
Meet the ballerina, Alice Cullen, wasn't even a challenge for Nevayah.
Alice Cullen was just as small as Nevayah just more bubbly, with her signature dimples and cute smiles.
Alice was friendly as her older brother Emmett and just jumped headfirst with the relationship with Nevayah.
The Cullen family had an air about them that drawing people in yet put them away at the same time.
Usually, the family kept to themselves, so when Nevayah was sitting at the table with Cullens, it was safe to say people took notice.
The Cullen Family never talked to people that often, if to borrow a pen or pencil or to most commonly answer the question a teacher asks, so shocked was an understatement when Nevayah was seen laughing and smiling with Cullen family as if they have known each other for years instead of mere hours.
As important as the Cullen siblings are, we all know you came for the original story of Edward Cullen and Nevayah Halee.
When Nevayah met Edward, she was gobsmacked much like the girls and women -sometimes boys and men- of New Haven.
When Edward and Nevayah locked eyes the day in New Haven Cafeteria, it was like a total high school cliche movie yet it still happened.
You know the typical, long deep stare into each other's eyes, the world stood still; time has stopped, they are the only ones in the universe, etc, etc.

And that was it.
Plain and simple.
Call it love at first sight or whatever.
From that moment on, everyone knew that if you wanted Nevayah, just look for a Cullen, because there was always one or more Cullens there- usually Edward or Emmett.
