You'll never understand

The statues of the past tumble with your sharp words making way for new beginnings as you place yourself up on a high fucking pedestal never to be torn down,
You wait for me to bow down and kiss your feet.
You're made to be perfect,
Though you've made mistakes that even a thousand lashes can't forgive,
So who gave you the right to judge me for mine?
You're an imperfect human,
A cracked glass waiting to shatter,
A ticking time bomb,
teasingly counting down till the last second.
I stand frozen in fear waiting for you to eurrupt
Watching you're father's demons slowly corrupt you,
warping you into a perfect nightmare...
My salvation and my destruction.
And while your trying to avoid the bullets
You let me get caught in the cross fire.
You are a flawed and fallible being...
But then again aren't we all?
